Was thinking about this today, if you was really keen to use a thicker gasket surely you could skim the inlet mani fold to allow for a 3mm thick one?

This guy is taking you for a ride mate, brembo discs are £90 delivered for the pair not only do they work ace they also look smart behind the wheels :cool: .. & if he means pads & discs then standard from GSF will be no more than £120.. that is for the fronts though, rears have the bearings...

So still trying to get a little bit more out of my 172 & the plan was to send the inlets off to Angle works/GDI but the turn around time is just not going to work for me as i need the car during the week plus doing this my self would be helpfull £££ wise So basically here goes, i use my dremel...

For under £40 you would seriously put this on your car? Its a piece of shite end off.. pipercross open filters are £70 & that doesnt include the fancy carbon look box & cold air feed.. have learnt this lesson the hard way.. you get what you pay for

5w40 fully synthetic is best, halfords own brand stuff is £32 for 5l alot of people on here use it including myself, cant complain :) , just make sure you get the fully syn one ;)

Surely around £5k alhtough 182's are hitting the 6k mark so may struggle

The de-cat & re-map has been the best mod for my fuel increase, before i got 40-43 on the motorway now it gets 44-48mpg :approve: just lets the engine run so much better... on the down side when putting my foot to the floor it now drinks alooot more :o swings & round abouts though lol

Nothing wrong with wet sanding paint work... providing you just go easy & check it after every 5/10 passes & off course that you dont go through the clear coat, best way to remove nasty scuffs/scratched that my g220 cant remove even with the cutting pads

Look at the reducers on it in the pic mate, It looks like the airbox is only around 60mm then they have adapters to take it upto 70mm so your engine is in theory going to get very starved of air.. plug one of your cold air feeds on your standard airbox & do a 20 miniute drive.. then you will...

Internal throttle bodies.. i belive Reason they work so well is due to the lack of bends in the inlet sytem, look at your standard one.. starting from the valves.. plennum is basically 180 degrees then 90degress from that to the throttle bodie then another 90 degrees to the induction pipe...

Mine was like that, my removal method, spray wd40 on the inside & out & leave for 10 mins.. repeat this again then carefully place it in a vice & take the correct spanner too it, job done! i reaaaally strugled with out the vice, got the first one done but the last one :mad: ... well worht the...

Have heard they are too soft for track use, cant comment though as i run FK's, love em :approve: , belive you cant get them for the 182 though
