Latest evo magazine has pics and details of RHD production Clio 197 in Inferno.
IMHO I think general concencus will say it, looks too high, production 17" wheels look a bit lost, the very grey looking diffuser sits uncomfortably with the colour coding of the whole car.
Without the bling of the...
The short answer to this is no. For seamless playback it has to be one long track. Drove me crazy when I got my ipod 1.5 years ago but I wouldnt be without it now regardless.
Some searching will tell you why in cant be done.
There does finally appear to be a workaround.....but only if you...
Funnily enough Ive Spent 50% of the last year (coming and going), in China. The thing I miss the most is driving my Clio, that sounds crazy but theres a lot of things to like about being in China !!
Every time I get back, recover from the trip, then go out for a damn good thrash on my...
The clio has done me proud for nearly five years now, as did the valver for five years before that. Time for a change. Timing is wrong for next gen Clio RS.
I want an Alfa 147 GTA. Depreciation could hurt but wont be buying new and I keep for a long time. Smart money says get a R32, but it...
Thanks for the comments.
Davebm: In the top right of the background is Audi Stockport.
Pow: When the car was new it had superguard polish put on by the dealer. Now Im the worlds biggest doubter but it realy impressed me . I polished it once with Autoglym super resin and extra gloss protection.
Posted a pic a few weeks ago on another thread and somebody asked for any more, didnt have any at the time.
Somebody also asked how I got it so shiny in the other pic, well it was 5 years ago
Ok heres a picture from this week, still fairly shiny considering I havent polished it for...
The pic below is for a Mk1 172, dont know what it says in a cup or Mk2. The 2 year limit seems mad but thats what it says !

The renault wheels in the pic are Oz f1s as said but not f1 cup or f1 eveos, they are early ones as they have a rim round the edge (the sort you can put a weight on) the current f1s have a flush edge which (only imho) I dont like as much, chages the look of the wheel quite a lot and makes them...
Not wanting to worry you and hope it isnt the same (could be plenty of other things) but that sounds exactly like when my accessory belt tensioner failed. Heard rattle / ticking, sort of one tick per rev of the belt for a while ( could only hear it with window down and sound bouncing off a wall)...
Lugged one about in the valver for 4 years and when I got the 172 I just couldnt bring myself to carry on, I found it a real pain, got in the way if I ever carried 4 people and rattled when stored.
Another 3.5 years on and no break ins. Perhaps Im getting complaicent (touches wood) but I think...
What happend to you truly sucks, you have my full sympathy.
Regarding insurance going up, on my last car I had a no fault claim with costs fully recovered and my insurance still went up (The car was parked up and someone drove into it), a no fault claim even with costs recovered is still a...
There are two revisions of MK1 172 exhasuts, up to ~Jan2001 it had one exhaust sensor after that it had two ( to do with emission regs). I remember this caused problems at the time with Magnex exhausts but that was basically the original magnex only had a mount for one sensor.
Would have...
Mine was gassed & dyed, repaired and re gassed all under warranty. The dye is to identify any leaks, afaik a 2 year old car shouldnt need gassing unless theres a leak ?
If the leak is in the radiator, say from a stone, then they wont cover it, mine was a weld on the the drier and was covered...
I would have thought if a 2 year old car needs a re gas there is a leak ? There should be a clunk from the engine bay when it engages, no clunk = probably no gas.
If the lamp comes on and theres no clunk from the engine bay then it may have lost its gas. This is what happened to mine. The drier had sprung a leak and was replaced under warranty.
Pic shows the culprit after it was dyed and was waiting for parts...
Direct replacement for the factory Pilot Sport SXGTs as fitted to Mk1 172 is the Pilot Exalto (Pilot sport only comes in 16" and up now).
Ive got these on and have been very happy with them. Paid £120 fitted for two, shop arround and you will get them for less.(I wanted to give local tyre...
The 172 didnt appear until two years into the Clio 2s life, same with the Meganne, has taken 2 years for us to get the RS. Worth considering as it could mean the Clio 3 turbo (or whatever) could be three years off.
Lol Paddy, well another post wont hurt I suppose ! Must make another meet sometime soon.

Dont see many about thats for sure. I think there is another member with one.
I think the colours are to reflect the Renault Sport logo colours + silver & black, at least thats what I was told !

I put a pair of Exaltos on the front of mine, superb tyres in dry or wet, cant fault them. They are the Michelin replacement for the SXGT as fitted to the Mk1 172 so you cant go wrong realy.
