Bit on the cold side for a meet but went to one one at Carsington this morning.
Temp was -6 when I got there!
Was through a M car forum so Renaults were a bit thin on the ground.
Had all the best intentions of stashing the car away for winter, even bought a cover for it.
Ended up driving me nuts and my good idea lasted all of 3 weeks ?
It's great to be driving it again although may re-visit the idea of stashing it away whenever they start putting the salt down.

The Trophy brake ducts aren't going to fit a Ph1 road car!
The battery is in the way on the drivers side and even if it wasn't, the subframe is in the way. I was mainly after the visual effect so ended up cutting 2 sections approx 8" long and fitting them to give the desired look.
No spacers...

Differences in the side pods? Are they bigger?
Relatively new to these and don't know a great deal about the finer points of the Trophy cars.

As previously mentioned in some early part of this thread, this was bought to use and, on the basis it isn't going to be sold until I'm cooling down in my jar on the mantlepiece (already a pensioner now so...
Well, wheels were collected and also managed to find a rep set of Trophy brake ducts.
There is no way in a million years am I going to need brake cooling but, if you're doing a Trophy rep then do it properly.
Tyres are now fitted and hopefully this Friday and Saturday the tyre decals will be...
Spoiler now on, car looks way better with it back.
Blueprint were unable to give a date when they could get it wrapped so the detailing guy did it...in fact he did all the work from fitting the base plate to the spoiler, bonding the two together etc, etc......did an A1 job.
If it had been left...
It will soon have a Trophy spoiler back on.
I wasn't going to bother but then found out I could get a proper mounting base for one!
The base and the spoiler are currently being fitted to each other, then they'll be bonded together. It'll then go off to Blueprint to be wrapped and will...
Have a mate who owns a detailing supplies company and he asked if he could have the car on his stand at the Waxstock show last weekend.
He'll also have it at this weekends Fitted show in Manchester so, if anyone from here is going, pop by and say hello.
