(i know thats a fakie, but have you seen how much the TIAL flanges are!!)
Anyways. Do they allow free rotation between the pipes? or are they a solid fix?
I thought the idea was they allow rotation.
I'm...
they are handy. Spark plugs are a common one that should always be torqued.
As for that particular job, I don't know fords, but the answer is no, you don't really need one
I would want to pay around £190 tops for a 182 manifold, then I'd have a decat made up or do one myself as I wasn't that impressed with the Ktec one.
I don't reckon it's worth it if someone else is fitting. That's not enough bang for buck then
You'll want to set aside a full day to get it done...
I've never played with 172 shafts but I don't see why they should've changed from the MK1 design. My MK1 shafts had a circlip - see the pics for the clip groove on the left end of those shafts. With the shaft in a vice, I used a very wide flathead and twisted it between the circlip lugs to open...

1st question at the bottom.....
had to share.
most probable answer IMO. what you've written about 99ron making the mixture rich is not true. It should allow a clever ECU to optimise the map and pull out fuel in places where it's used for charge cooling.....afaik. Whether you'd ever notice is another thing.
re-gas, adjustable, their, raised.
Just saying as some people have a thing about adverts with spelling errors. Will give it the best possible chance of sale. Good luck
get a used 182 cat if you can find one. If was me I'd just pick up any nice looking CAT from the scrappy, weld her in and hope for the best come MOT time :D
That german conversion is exactly the wrong way to do it IMO.
Mind me asking what mounts have been used for this conversion and how much fabrication was required?
