as long as it isn't something like a national or transmech clutch i'd say glazed flywheel then.

very much doubt it would need refacing? either glazed flywheel of guide tube for the bearing not been cleaned up.

the 182 is longer with the stub axles being taller tha the 172, think there is only about 15mm difference in length? will work on a 172 fine though.

ottomh the 182 cables are slightly longer than the 172?

they don't fit now. they changed just after euro started using the name, they know they don't fit as well but no one seems to actually do anything about it. even the first line ones don't fit now either.

Check fuse, check if it comes on when ac is on, unplug cts and see of it comes on. Ypu might habe to turn ignition off and back on for it to come on though. If it doesn't come on then check relay, you should hear it click if it's working, just because it clicks though doesn't mean it is...

little bit but you may not notice though. if anything it may just start a bit quicker, less cranking. i've had them miles out and still ran ok.
