the worst mod imo is cheap coilovers, i think they are the new lexus lights tbh.
unfortunately my 182 came with seized v maxx, seized silly low to make it worse. why any one would fit these coilovers is beyond me, they are supposed to be an upgrade but my 65hp DCI handles better than my 182...
so this is what you were referring to earlier. i see.....
i wouldnt dare ring an insurance company to tell them about my aerial LMFAO. i rang my insurance to tell them about the change of exhaust from a pooflow to a scorpion and to tell them about the panel filter. i made a joke about the...
I had this on my dci I bought the other week. Go on eBay and look for some flexible silicone hosing. It's about £6 for 500mm delivered.
Pull all the old stuff off and fit the new flex pipe using 2 jubilee clips. Job done and all for under £10.
Thanks for your input buddy. I have been looking into it for some time now. I have seen the thread with your car in on TDF's section. Thats who I would want to do the conversion tbh, matts prices are very fair too.
ATM in the process of moving to a bigger house but when that's out of the way i...
After exhaust, before remap.
And yes, it's a very good mod IMO. Have a look in tdf's traders section, they do a throttle body kit supplied, fitted and mapped.
Why bother?
My dci 65 has the airbox and some large ducting as standard. It gets plenty of cold air in.
The only thing I would do to mod a 1.5 dci is a good map. That's it engine wise IMO
You want to get on with brentacre. They are the best insurance company I have ever used. I declared everything on my 182, even my c2 aerial! It's well worth doing tbh.
funny you should mention this actually.
i was followed this morning by a mint green corsa b on some scabby 16s. it looked like abit of a shitter tbh. however, he came rocketing up behind me and let off the throttle to which i heard a loud sneezing noise (dump valve to my surprise).
this corsa...
they are the ultimate boy racers toy IMO, i did 157mph on an r6 just to see how far it could go and a chewy nut popped out!
its petrifying, but there is no other feeling like opening up the throttle.
Until this thread I've never seen or heard of bad welding on scorpions. That's why I bought a scorpion in the first place purely for this reason (and the price )
i cant speak for other people but but my scorpion has been spot on, no cracked welds as of yet.
i did blow once but that was down to me catching the centre pipe on a massive speed bump
I've never heard of any welding issues with a scorpion. The majority will tell you yozza arethe best exhaust. Everyone who has a yozza always says good things about them.
I have the scorpion rs192. It fitted lovely, it's doesn't blow and it sounds very nice IMO. You can tell its there and is a...
i had a look round the CS stand, it was a very big turn out!
i couldnt see anyone that i recognised but i did stick my head in the tent. unfortunately the people in the tent looked at me like i had thrown poo at them so i just wondered on and watched terry grant go round in circles.
it wasa...
depending on your amps / wire speed etc.
i start welding and count to 3 then let off and watch the weld cool slightly, only a little though. then go back in and count to 3 again.
its a basic method but if the machine is set up right this technique works a treat, its what i do when root welding.
