Forgot about this tread,If you put the standard mounts back on then iam sure it will cure your problem, this happens on a lot of cars with up rated (undeveloped) engine/gearbox mounts.
The genuine Renault blue ones have SIEMENS on them. I had mine on for 6 years no problem, they dont seam to go wrong like the factory fitted black ones.
There magnetic and pick up iron fillings off the flywheel from the stater motor gear this can cause clearance problems / incorrect signal to...
Grind the old one off and get something like this welded on, you may have to drill the holes bigger to allow to fit the Renault bolt cups.

The mounts drop overtime, i fitted a genuine one and compared the two the new one was higher, one of the reasons the exhaust manifold touches the ARB under hard acceleration.
I had this with a scorpion decat on my 182 it smelt like a old Morris minor gave me a headache, this must of been what all cars smelt like pre 1992.
There where no leaks i checked it buy holding a piece of toilet roll next to the joins/gasket.

I am not sure why people fit poly bushes on the wishbones the originals dont move even when using a big pry bar.
