I fitted the vibra technics gearbox mount and you could hear gearbox rotation noise go quiet when the clutch was pressed down I took it out and the noise went. That was when it was idling .
I had the vibra technics mount on the drivers side fitted to my 182 with the other mounts being standard. I took it off because of the vibration and noise you would do 70mph and it would feel like you needed to change into 6th.
It got rid off the engine movement and the throttle response was...
The replacement gaiters look like they are designed to fit the inner tie rods on a steering rack as you can see where the cable tie/metal spring clamp would sit on each end. Not a bad idea but I be surprised if there as durable as the original covers.

I thought the sleeve was stuck on the gearbox not the driveshaft couldn't really tell from the picture.
Now I know stuck on the shaft the best thing to do is let wd40 or penetrating oil soak into the splines then put in in the vice and hit the sleeve with a chisel.
Clean the splines then tap...
I bought a service exchange drive shaft for my 182 cup from Renault last year for £123.58 + vat 8201187820.
It came with the sleeve firmly attached to the drive shaft.
When I removed the old drive shaft it just came away from the gearbox splines with a bit of help from a pry bar.
All the splines...
