Love the cup packed 182 wheels so much better looking than turinis imo..
Oh yeh and those wheels that came on the valvers don't know what they are called but looked similar to ronal turbos.
Hi
Have recently noticed a tapping sort of hollow clunking noise coming from the lower inlet manifold on the 3rd port along from the flywheel end and its still there faintly throughout the rev range. I got hold of some shell helix oil for a good price its been in around a month now.
Obviously...
Flol crappy renault!!!
These were the numbers i got for them off another Renault worker (wests)
172 ph2 rear shocks - 8200662257
172 cup rear shocks - 8200662257
182 rear shocks - 8200681128
Whats going on Adam have you all got your own secret codes?;)
Big no no as some of the flush remains in the block and slowly breaks your new oil down!
Get the car up to temp and drain it out then (don't burn yourself )
Must be a long time if its sticky!!
Bleed the system through with new fluid (ATE blue fluid for example) .
Old fluid/not bled recently can cause issues.Tbh i would have done the fluid at the same time as the full brake change
Give your mate a back hander in the face lol.. he clearly doesn't know anything
Apex on a cup is an insult infact on any car! if by any chance they have been changed from standard to apex steer clear of them.
Easy way to tell is red shocks and yellow springs
Standard shocks will be fine upto 40mm but don't use apex springs the ride is very very harsh, sportlines are your best option and they don't lower 40mm only go around 30mm max
if you want to go 50mm-60mm then a full suspension setup will be required shocks and springs also get the best you can...
Yeh they are different the 182 manifold has an extra stub on it for a vacum hose from the carbon cannister.
Inpassing blank of the extra stub on the 182 manifold as iirc it shall cause the same issues as a vacum leak which is what you have at the moment
i think it is something to do with a breather pipe .. Actually its to do with a vacum hose from the inlet manifold to the carbon canister! do you not have an extra stub on the 182 manifold with no hose to attach to it?
