I had this code pop up the day before i changed the plugs,ht leads and coil pack.it has never come back on in 6 months!! plugs etc sorted it out Tbh though get some diagnostics done as it can be many things causing it!

Sealant?? i have had the same problem with seeping oil so i changed the seal (the one in the pic ) seems to be fine now, only costs around £7. You wouldn't believe it but that vvt solenoid seal is actually a renault 5 headlight seal

All the below genuine renault other than the sportline springs Shocks sportlines top mounts ball joints track rods track rod ends wishbone bushes ARB bushes ^^^this is what i would do a full refresh ;)

The left middle pipe goes from the acoustic valve down to the bottom of the front bumper/ arch

Borrowed this pic but its the bottom left pipe ,it connects to the underside of the airbox and goes to just behind the passenger headlight#
