182 manifold is a good mod on the 172 but i think you also need the 182 cat or de-cat, Putting a new (valeo) clutch in makes it one hell of alot lighter make sure you change the cable also. the 182 inlets are near enough matched but iirc they are a diiferent fitment than the 172 ones...

Dogbone is fitted correctly and as j said other mounts are k-tec uprated ones and they are considerably harder compound over the O.E mounts so yes you will get a fair bit of vibration. Plus they may need to be aligned properly.

New inner tie rods and tie rod ends will solve the bump steer problem

extremely massive difference between sportlines and apex!! Steer clear of apex they are really bad!

Tom i know this route very well (even know where the pot holes are) its where i go for a sunday afternoon blast to chester zoo and back and its an awesome road! favoured by motorbikers coming at you on your side of the road! alot of lorry and tractor traffic on this road so keep your eyes peeled

change your top mounts also!

I changed mine put motul motylgear 75w-80 oil in mine!

The dephaser solenoid is that round thing with wire on next to the oil filler cap

40mm as i reckon 60mm will be a bit harsh

kam racing in the traders section but don't know if they supply them for the non sports? iirc they are different to the RS ones. A phone call/pm will shed more light on it though;) Plus the cheapest place for them at the moment
