today about 3pm black 182 wheels, some big green sticker on the back window and very low maybe be due to the size of the ice cream the driver was eating;)
5 miles to work 5 miles back sat in traffic and endless stop/start driving due to roundabouts and speed bumps. but does go above 40 on a steady drive on the motorway and 27ish round town
just seems to be the commuting i get the problem:S

My brother has some steel wire wheels on his mk1 vw passat he has asked if i know of anything that can protect them from rusting or to stop the chrome pitting.
But i have no idea but thought i would ask on here as there is some very on the ball people on here who know about this sort of...
Loads easier imo to come out the top, just lower the passenger side of the subframe enough so you can push the end of the box into the wheel arch.
Remove the clutch then turn it 90 degree towards you so the largest end is facing up and bring it out.
