I placed my brain behind the glove box and the steering wheel/dispaly adaptor to the right of the glove box.
Only ever got between 34 and 38 mpg in my 182.
Make sure you get F(R)Sh and check aux belt at 36k and cam belt at 72K (Or 60 as some people recommend).
Check disc for thickness and also damopers for leaks.
Removing the dash makes no difference on the Mk3's as the heater controls are above the radio. And block you from getting to the top of the radio.
On the mk2 removing the dash is a must.
I'v not regreted selling my 182 FF, and loving the CUP more and more.
Would only of got a R27 in White, but they only made one and it will never be sold!!!! The FF never really appealed to me, don't miss the toys. Couldn't live without AC.

They don't last long on all Clio's the shocks are a common proble after a while.
Could be the exhaust knocking the rear axle.
Front strut is it on full lock when your get a problem, if so you need the top washers changed. Try a search for this!
