I'd check the top seal first as it'll be easier to get at. Then out some sealant along it. If that doesn't do the trick try the sunroof seal.

Top seal, as in the seal that runs above the windscreen? Wouldn't have thought that.

phase 1 clios leak there due to the aerial being at the front. As you're phase 2 the only thing that would cause any leak like that would be the sunroof. I'm sure there's a guide about on how to re-seal the sunroof :)

If you have a ph2 pin out diagram, it would also help me too :)

I'd guess by removing the strips that run above and down the side of the windscreen would help massively, as then you can tuck or roughly cut the vinyl. Use a credit card or something of the like. Then just put the strips back into place, prior to that a statutory clean of the windscreen...

Neat install that was expecting crappy toggle switches, but they're really quite nice. As for the Cigarette lighter socket the 3 wires are ground, battery live and side light live. Yellow - Battery Live +12v Blue - Side Light Live +12v Brown - Earth (I hope) A multimeter is your friend :)...

I'd have expected the fuses to have gone pop and a flat battery before any wires burning through even their own insulation. My guess someone has been rummaging at the wires on the connector, unless you've seen the tape on there prior to being it burnt. Plus the wire that has still some tape on...

What return in MPG you get from LPG with it being half the price of petrol its a thing I may consider and it'll use the spare wheel well.
