The A pillar isn't secured by any clips, the actual pillar has inbuilt clips. As for the b pillar and other interior trim these are what they are secured by, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220860014645
Rather expensive, don't they normally ramp up the price if they don't have it in stock to save on re listing when in stock, or something along those lines.
Yes all should go straight in, I swapped over the pre-tensioners from my old seats to the sport seats then there is no need to solder or go through that rigmarole.
I've upgraded the manual mirrors to electric, first off I would get the connector that goes into the mirror switch and the...
Easy as they'll be PLCC 2 SMD leds they are 1mm by 2mm requires a steady hand and a fine tipped soldering iron. A temperature control one would be best too :)
I'm not uber mechanically minded but may a dash reset do the job.
As in put dash into diagnostic mode using the button on the end of wiper stalk then turn ignition to 2nd turn. Then press the clear button that protrudes from the dials its solved some problems I've had when I wasn't recognizing...
I'd say it's the actual runners, as when the seat it tilted to get in the back there is a bit of metal(made of cheese) that remembers where the seat was.
So if that's broke then the seat will not lock into place.
Best replacing them, if that's a viable option I don't know.
Well my ball joints were shot, as in I could rattle the 'ball' around the socket.
So tracking made a massive difference plus my steering wheel wasn't aligning when I drive straight.
Hard to tighten, as in fiddly.
I had to lodge a spanner to hold the bolt whilst torquing the nut.
I had tried...
If you fitted them yourself, after fitting them did you get it tracked?
Guessing you got the dearer option (Lemforder) q-drive are a bag of nails and the threads fall apart.
I found them a nonse to tighten the bolts.
Saw the pink spray can near the RS Grill, shat a brick.
Pretty nice project that from £200 a month.
p.s. don't the side indicators get on your nerves? Try find some clear ones at a scrappy.
If they came with that model spec then yes other than that no rear speaker loom is attached.
To avoid gaining access to the back of your stereo to 'splice' into wires, there is a guide of the forum but you have to be a full paid member to view it.
The black connector should have a sliding lock, this comes out from the bottom of the connector.
Makes sure that the sliding clip is fully extended then marry it up to the socket, apply a bit of pressure whilst sliding the clip back in.
This will stop it from coming loose and hopefully solve...
Welcome pal,
My guess is that the door loom connector is loose, it's further down from the hinge the door pivots on.
Check that it's actually connected or even loose.
The only thing I had to change from my cluster to the xenon clusters was the connector for the levelling, its easily swapped over.
This may have been due that I have an 05 non-sport changing from an 02 plate 182.
Others maybe luckier than me.
I'll go and get a few pics on the pre-tensioners as they are and the connectors,
If you get the seats with the runners too that's a good thing as you can undo the connector from under the seat then
Swap the seats, by removing the 4 13mm bolts from under the car.
Swap the pre-tensioners route...
Try accessing it from the inside by removing the rear door card, should be on to a winner then.
My guess those three clips will be holding it in for inside the car.
Should be easy to fit.
Just change over the pre-tensioners(seat belt part) from your seats to the new seats so no need to solder or sort out the connectors.
And if don't already have 60/40 split rear seats the hinge that the seats pivot upon are there just under carpet and you'll need to cut a...
