Well, I'm a VR convert.
Admittedly, VR is not suitable for a good selection of games - the likes of RTS's would be a little bit pointless, unless they were genuine table-top replacement games.
We set one up here - running on a new PC with an i7 6700K and GTX1080. The Labs...
No performance benefit over it's SSD sibling, but a useful capacity for the price if you have an M.2 slot free on your mobo....

Supplied by Scan, yet strangely is over £25 more if you buy it through them?
Is it something that anyone has tried before? After 12 years of my arse getting in and out of the car, the side bolster is definitely past its best.
Just curious if its been done before and if the results were worth it?
Cheers,
D.
I thought it worth mentioning as I've fixed the small issue on with my front wipers today.
Although there's the obvious three bolts holding the mechanism in place, there is also a metal spindle at the rear of the bulkhead that helps locate the whole assembly in place before putting the bolts...
Hi chaps,
After some advice. We'll be on our honeymoon in about three weeks time (!) and I was after getting a semi-decent point & click camera for when Shelley and I are out and about.
As such - it has to be smallish - ideally something I could have in my pocket, or small bag. I don't want...
Chaps, (especailly @gally)
A work colleague has scuffed the alloy on his vRS over the weekend. Is it a major issue to address given that it has a 'lined' finish on the exposed silver-coloured areas? Its a small detail and tbh, one that you don't notice until you're very close to the alloy...

Right chaps - what obvious thing am I missing? I've got an Asus PG278Q G-Sync monitor that when connected to my previous GTX 690, was more than happy to be set at 144hz.
I picked up the GTX 1080 last week - connected up the DisplayPort cable...
Chaps,
On the three bolts that connect the wiper mechanism to the chassis (two in the centre and one off to the right) - does anyone know how many washers each bolt uses?
When I've re-greased mine, I think I've put the wrong number on each - making it a bit hit and miss on the sweeping motion...
Just pulled up now and applied the handbrake and.... snap. Up came the lever with a bit of tension applied to the rear wheels.
From the picture, it's not that easy to see where the the linkage has snapped. Is it easy enough to replace the whole ratchet and lever assembly? Or a proper...
I could be tempted..... ;)

Not quite sure how you'd go about servicing it though?
Windows 10 & DX12 loveliness beckons....
Anyone had a look on the Windows Store to see if the Beta is available for download yet? Might be a time delay being American?

Jesus. Were things that bad, some 30 years ago? Then again, I was stuck on the Atari 2600 at the time.
It also appears that some village has lost both of its rapists too...
Chaps,
I've definitely noticed it more now with it being colder - but the car makes a rapid clicking noise when pulling out of a junction. It does this when turning either left or right, but I'd arguably say it was a bit louder when pulling out to the right.
It stops when the wheels go...
Very nice. I think I'd cry actually using it for what it was designed for though!

Quite surprised that this hasn't been mentioned yet?
Put about 7 hours into it on the PC. It's very familiar in both look and feel to the Batman series and Shadow of Mordor game - but imo, is significantly better than the latter.
The usual fare applies. Following a story mode over a very hefty...
With the recent release of Windows 10, much has been speculated about the potential of DirectX 12 that comes built into it. A lot has been said, but given its early days - not much is out there (yet) in terms of true performance stats and real-world gaming results.
One that is out there is the...
I'm definitely not the first and probably won't be the last to do this - but I managed to get a set of Turinis for the 'ol 182. Thanks again to Tom (@punk_rallye ) for the sale.
Got them fitted on Monday and gave it a quick wash last night. Got a set of black wheel bolts due in the next...
Pretty cheap that....

Not really sure that the components justify the expense, really. And besides - if you could afford that level of kit - surely you'd want to build it yourself?
Fair play that such kit exists in the first...
Chaps,
Have you come across a set of wheel bolts that are in black? Ideally with a matching locking one too? After 11 years, mine are getting tired looking and a bit rusty.
Cheers,
D.
Trying to think of justifications to go for this.....

Looks pretty epic. Not sure how happy the management would be when they saw the bill though!
Having used a myriad USB based keyboards over the years - some basic, some very expensive, I 'rescued' an old PS/2-based Dell clunker from the basement at my mum's work and connected it to my office PC.
In a nutshell - it's awesome. Being 24 years old (the manufacturing date of 1991 is...
