Front wiper assembly

Chaps,

On the three bolts that connect the wiper mechanism to the chassis (two in the centre and one off to the right) - does anyone know how many washers each bolt uses?

When I've re-greased mine, I think I've put the wrong number on each - making it a bit hit and miss on the sweeping motion.

I can't find the answer anywhere. No diagrams or anything accurate enough to tell me!

I thought there was 1 on each? Have you got it mounted back on the lug on the bulkhead? It's not the easiest to find but when I didn't have mine lined up it didn't want to work properly

Hi Ads,

Yep - there's definitely a different number of washers per bolt - well, on the two centre ones anyway. I remember when I removed the assembly first, thinking "I'd best remember how many were on each". Hindsight, eh?!

I know what you mean about the lug. Almost like it doesn't line up to tighten up the bolt at first.
