CN04 NJE - RB 182 for sale in Blackwood AVOID

Ffs. We didn't turn up expecting a minter. We knew it would need work. But, it's about 600 too expensive basing on what you'd need to spend to get it up to a minter. (Based £3.5k as a mint 182 on that mileage) Retail wise, it needs: £600 belts and dephaser Misfire looking at (I'm thinking...

Went to look at this for a mate earlier. Walked away. List of stuff I found: No history, aux belt fraying due to knackered tensioner. Belts due on age alone. Cv boot split Bulged tyres Misfiring Misaligned bumpers One new headlight Osf wing damaged Chavvy ktec spoiler Headlamp...

    Rob_SRi NA/T Supra Build + Restoration..

Good project, the only downfall I can see potentially is the china charger. I love supra's myself, a mate had a 600bhp one with a drag auto box. The auto really let it down IMO but f**k me that thing shifted.

How serious are my 172s problems?

Right, little update with this. I had it in yesterday to replace the aux kit and faulty alternator I have ZERO doubt in my mind the timing is out. I found so much stuff bodged, broken or just missing on small simple stuff that if they can't do that, then what chances do they have of doing the...

Brokedown this morning now won't start

Pull the fuel rail off, put 4 plastic cups under the injectors and crank it over. See if the injectors fire.

Cruise Control 52 Plate 65 DCI

The DCI I have has climate but no wiring for cruise. Not difficult to wire it in. But if you don't have access to clip it's a reprog job for Renault/specialist with clip.

Mike Woodford is in Staines. Best person in the South East IMO.

Cruise Control 52 Plate 65 DCI

That panel doesn't have any wiring for cruise.

    Scenic not starting (172 Engine)

No. The ecu needs to be Virginised for the immobiliser to recode to your key. The ecu/ UCH/key are all matched sets .

South West 2nd Rolling Road Day

Yeh TAD is a good mate of mine, I'm not sure how much mapping he does now but he used to do it with rstuning remotely. I'll be getting the equipment fairly soon to do mapping and map checking :)

South West 2nd Rolling Road Day

172 ph2 with matched inlets and a full exhaust. Though looking at his torque curve I suspect there is slightly more!

    Scenic not starting (172 Engine)

Have you had the immobiliser on the ecu Virginised?

    Timing belt procedure question

Using a decent torque wrench. I know myself, mick, Fred, and Mike Woodford all use the Snap on Tech angle wrenches.

phase 2 donating heart to phase 1

For the record, your correct, it does. Also the ph1 inlet has a fitting for the idle control valve.
