    FLOL yeh I've been out of the tramping and running bent for a few years now. Remember the old 3 series where you could flick the ign off and on a few times and it'd loose the limiter? Or putting a ball bearing up the pipe to the regulator on the earliest ones.. I had a very close call once...

    Tbh it's very difficult to say without seeing it. Some can drive fine and fall flat on their arse over 5.5k others will idle like a pig and go like stink over 5k. It really depends how the timing is out.

    If the light is flashing rapidly, it usually Needs a new key programmed. this sadly needs to be done with dealer level equipment. He will be looking circa £160 from Renault to have this done including the key. if the light stays solid, this can be anything to the uch, decoder ring etc.
