As said it'll invalidate any insurance you may have as the car is running unattended, and £300 won't even begin to cover a decemt clifford install. And in my experience with them its all down to who fitted it and how good a job they did, otherwise they'll be nothing but trouble.
I'd also check the actual master cylinder too, may be not giving equal pressure to the two circuits and locking on set up? Something to look at possibly.
The pretty much same happened to my mate in his old vti, except it hit the lower grill instead was a lovely job scraping all the blood and s**t out. Left him too that one funnily enough!
They've got a plastic outer casing that can be reused yes, although everytime i'd had one from renault its came complete. A lot of the 3rd party ones are just the element though yes.
Personally the renault metal filters are far far too short to go bashing screwdrivers through without the...
The 225 does it nicely when the exhausts hot on H&T downshifts, did it for england on vpower racing fuel at the ring (100+ ron I believe? cost enough!)
Probably just the splines on the input shaft of the box aren't lined up with those on the inside of the friction plate, try turning the input shaft a bit a trying again. Otherwise keep jiggling and it will go on!

I'm sure he won't mind me stealing this pic but just to give you an idea
So I very much doubt he's got a s/a/s connected :D. Its and F4R'd Mk1 and he's after using the Ph1 172 clocks so just needs to get the lights off for cosmetic reasons.
The ABS fault light is putting the SERV light on and the brake fault is putting the STOP light on so don't worry about those too much. I think the abs light needs grounding but don't quote me on it, as for the brake fluid level i'm not sure where that goes with the diagrams in front of me. If it...
Off the top of my head and its been a while since i've looked the refurb kit is £35 but thats not concrete. And I can't get to dialogys atm to look it up for you.

Re: Windows 7 on MSDN Now!
Been using it for a week, i'm very impressed actually. What vista should have been, the media centre improvements are vast which is nice to see its become less of a bodged on afterthought that it started out as.
Got Dale to take me out in that or one of the R26.Rs they had when I was over there last month, fooking amazing driver! Really shows how much faster having talent makes you!
