you sure they were assembled the correct way? my KW's have a small hard helper spring at the top and then the larger softer spring on the adjustable platform.
depends what you mean by decent. good quality springs will provide a decent ride but wont be that low. to go low your gonna need £400 for some FK's as apex -60mm is harsh.
colour coding is £200 upwards dependant on the bodyshops quality and reputation.
your best bet would be to buy a new one and take it with you. however after 2 months the new one will be knackered so i'd advise modifying it.
loads of people do it different ways but i personally bought a universal exhaust mount from halfords for about £1.50. i then cut away the 'X' inside...
4 grand was spent on it before the guy who bought it from me sold loads of bits off it, prob a couple of k's worth of mods on that now. But yeah i agree, hence why i sold it and bought a 172 ;)
off the top of my head iirc the suggested retail price is £130 for each corner. wack on a set of tyres makes it another £50 a corner. add some spacers at £100 for the set. then add a custom refurb in black gloss at £200.
so you've got: £1020 ;)
edde was harrassing me last week so he's still knocking around just not on the forum much. (if your reading this edde you've got to fit my coilovers ;) )
i should have been able to. however because its been so long since the crash and none of their assessors picked up on it they now believe i've done it myself and am trying to claim off them for it.
yeah, something the insurance company should have replaced after my crash, but i've only just noticed it after yozza pointed it out. On the to fix list when i find some money from somewhere lol
i really dont think it is that loud - either that or ive got premature deafness :S
was done at knypersley test centre and we negotiated over the cracked windscreen and bent rear axle to get it passed lol
managed to get an advisory over 'noisy exhaust' :D
bit of a joke really when you consider its nowhere near as loud as most other cars at cliosport meets, or even the local chavs. so next time i might be really pedantic and shove a sponge in the tailpipe to see what he says.
