we left lymm services and i was at the back stuck behind a MPV driving fag. so completely lost them on the roundabout and didnt have a clue where i was going :S
but yes, middo does normally drive like a girl.... a girl who stole it :D
panel filter with a c.a.f. will give small gains for minimal outlay.
unless you can get the viper secondhand i wouldnt bother as its not worth £200. its also really rather quiet and just gives off a 'nicer' tone without being louder
viper is a foam filter just in a carbon casing so it...
'has'
basically involved cutting it down the middle, which is dodgy to say the least. then taking it to a carbon fibre works to have it re-resin'd together into one piece and im not sure if it was bent or just cut down. but i know it wasnt as easy as it should have been.
i've got bluevision in mine with bluevision sidelights. alot crisper than normal headlight bulbs, but nowhere near xenons in terms of style however you can see a bit of blue when its really dark.
i got mine from homebase, but seeing as i work there not sure if they still sell it. otherwise i know B&Q sell single sided self adhesive felt pads you could cut to size.
when i had a sub in my punto sporting it made the shelf rattle so i used some foam tape that was only sticky on the one side. that seemed to do a good job tbh
you need to put a bead of silicone or sticky tape on the sides of the parcel shelf where it rests. wont stop it jumping but cushions it so it doesnt rattle as much
tbh i saw alot of 'fast' cars going round silverstone comparatively slowly. the car that really impressed me was a red 306 sticked up with ecosse - that thing was rapid!
rear axle was twisted/bent in the crash but seeing as the insurance company never repaired it ive got to sort it myself. especially as ive just noticed how bad it is so its really pissing me off.
push for compensation mate. I got a fair wad of compensation for the hash they made of fixing my car, they're gonna get an ear bashing tomorrow as well as i've just notcied the rear axle is bent which they didnt replace in the crash
The suspension is KW V2s up front and an interesting koni yellow/eibach combo at the rear, not the best but does the job!
Jamie - nah didnt get your pm, will collect my debts at the next N/W meet ;)
