just at my local bodyshop in cheadle (forget the name). Everybody thinks its really cheap to do them yourself, but when you add it up its not at all. Your talking a tenner for a good tin of professionally mixed paint (not from halfrauds) fiver for lauqer fiver for primer, couple of quid for...
even i wouldnt attempt to spray handles myself. You'll never get a good enough finish, and they will chip really badly as they're in a vulnerable area. For the price a bodyshop charges get them done professionally. I've had my bumpstrips and handles including bootlock done for 100 quid.
nice car, racing blues always look nice. however i'd check it over with a fine tooth comb, see my thread on ABP when it comes to clios they're s**t. Put it this way they fitted my suspension upside down, when even my dad with no mechanical experience could tell me which way they're meant to go.
2 grand might even be 2.5k. I'm 22 had a crash (non fault) so had no no claims and the cheapest quote ic ould get was 3k before puttign my mum and the girlfriend on the policy
hanging a bit low as i need a new bracket, however you really need to hear it to appreciate it, i've heard lots of 172 exhausts and this make the nicest sound of any i've heard. Also the workmanship on it is top notch.
crap video
i paid 350 for a practically brand new one from a member off here, not stelath but looks mint (i think), and the noise it makes is absolutly gorgeous, not to loud either like most people think.
fit turinis eh ;)
The bumper was fully smoothed professionally at a bodyshop, would have cost a fortune though if i hadnt have been having over a grands worth of work done at the same time. Wouldnt recommend it it gave me loads of probelms with filler sag etc. Id fit the new clio campus front...
right, the rear dampers were fooked on the kw's i bought as they were rattling. so fitted some koni yellows today, and now the ride is perfect.
however, and theres always an however, when i go over a big bump in the road or a speed hump i'm getting quite a loud noise which i can only...
you need to slice a piece of rubber in half and then place that into the mechanism so it closes tighter.
theres a guide, susprisingly, in the guide section by russ9898 where he put some scouring pad in the mechanism and he claims his is sorted.
you can, but theres not a great deal of point. especially when you have to spend hours getting them perfectly cleaned.
if you got them powder coated they'd be like new, but all you'd have to do is just wax them.
read a guide on here that details the process of how to do it. but ive got no idea what order all the washers go in, so just wondering if anyone knew of a guide that shows how the rear assembly is made up.
its for the koni yellow dampers btw.
