Removing sap

on my car since i bought it the windscreen is covered it what i think are tiny little dots of sap.... they can come off with your finger nail, they are also all over one side of the car, what is the best product? and how is the best way to use it? btw the car is black... and i need something that wont mess how the wipers work....

try a clay bar. tried it on my mums car as she parks under a tree at work and really helped
