I'm having mine fitted this week (when i get round to booking it in lol) so will take some vids/pics then. Shes sitting in my garage at the mo though, and i have to say its the best looking exhaust quality wise i've ever seen
whats the internal diameter of the induction elbow required (hillpower style) for the 172.
dont call me lazy, as i would check if i had a car to check on
i'm guessing around 63mm, but would like to know for definite before ordering an elbow.
not sure if its the right section, so here goes:
got a pre-polished plenum off MrStabby and whilst i wait for my car i thought i'd give it a proper 'ott' polish. have been using autosol and a dremel to get the bigger marks and dirt off, but what can i use to give it a proper chrome finish...
thought they were awesome in the dry, but in the wet they held their own but did start to twitch a little compared to goodyear eagles. definetely recommended from me :)
well still not got it back, as we're having discussions over some of the rectification work. but the car went to the bodyshop, at most, 2 weeks after the crash. so they've had it for the vast period :(
you've posted the video as a jpg have you not, so it just loads as a picture for me.
for me the biggest problem with fitting a centre silencer was that it forced the join between the cat and the cat-back down so it used to bang on the front subframe, but more to poor design than anything...
wont find one like that second hand. Cost me 500 quid in total, and the powerflow dealer vowed never to do another sports cat on a 1.2 again as it was such an arse
I've talked to people with dci 100's who've kept up with 172s to a certain speed, due to the torque they have. I'd defo go for the diesel. 1.2s are slow, 1.4s not too bad but still dont 'feel' as quick as the diesel
it would look good but its a big big arse, hence why i didnt have it smoothed out when i had my 1.2 bumper smoothed. Can guarentee it will crack and need a respray about every 6 months, even on mine where i had the inserts smoothed and properly plastic welded the filler sagged
