    Graham's OCD ph3 DCi sport rep v2

If the part number is 8200186299 on the ABS sensor I'll buy it from you. I never left! You're is really Alex's though  Had a read through your thread, sunroof is blooming nightmare isn't is! With yours because it's a bit older you don't have ABS sensor issues so wide track and rear beam...

    Graham's OCD ph3 DCi sport rep v2

I'll check! When you swapped did you have to change the ABS sensors? I heard the 182 sensors don't work and you have to use 100 sensors on a rear disc conversion with 44t abs. I've always wanted a flamer so can't wait for it to be finished! All about knowing where to look ;)

    Graham's OCD ph3 DCi sport rep v2

Yeah it’s a pain on the 100. The shafts are a bummer. You’ve got a disc rear axle going which is nice, half way there! Cruise is an easy mod in yours, think the loom already has it in so it’s just a case of plugging the bits in and programming the clocks. It was Gris boreal Mv/nv632. It was a...

Wing mirrors! I’m calling it what Renault call it on their diagrams, which I appreciate is a little misleading! It’s good for drying rain and condensation off though.

    Graham's OCD ph3 DCi sport rep v2

They are yeah. It’s white difficult to find a fully specced loom from a diesel, hence why I’m making my own. They did exist though. Main difference with the dci loom is EPAS. 80 has different injectors and boost pressure so the map isn’t a direct swap. I tried an 80 ecu in my old rep and it...

    Graham's OCD ph3 DCi sport rep v2

Best to get a loom from the car with all the extras and then spend hours and hours looking at wiring diagrams! No plans for the engine really because I want to maintain it's economy. That said I am going to decat it and if an intercooler kit comes up cheap enough I'll snap it up :) Injectors and...

    Graham's OCD ph3 DCi sport rep v2

Today I popped down to see @stevem42 who was a huge help with parts on my old rep and current track car. In his goldmine of parts there was a full 172 body kit. Before fitting this I need to fit the widetrack conversion which has been sitting in the back garden for over a year now! Next job...

    Graham's OCD ph3 DCi sport rep v2

Yesterday I swapped over the whole interior with some 172 seats from @Kelv and seatbelts, carpet, dash trims and door and door cards courtesy of @AlexW. Already it's a much nicer and quieter place to be. The door looms have now given in electric and heated mirrors which the dash loom was wired...

Here we go again! Never did I think this would happen but with a few friends breaking Clios and the red shed sitting sorry on the drive needing some TLC the inevitable has started to happen. We did briefly put the car up for sale but it started to leak quite badly and after doing the maths, with...

Pulling right henna accelerating and left when braking

I'm almost 100% sure this is driveshaft/gearbox related. I can't just swap back to the APs back on because they're on different hub spacing and it's a HUGE pain to change between the two. Look back at my recent power to weight shootout this looks to be quite a similar issue to the one I had on...

Pulling right henna accelerating and left when braking

Yeah all working well and lubed up. They were refurbed not too long ago. I’m a good bluffer  I barely know my own. Soft office hands. All the bushes are good. Was the first thing that came to mind! Checked the tracking again last night. I strung the car on Saturday and did it with a...

Martins car which they came off was fully corner weighted and perfect 50% cross. Heights are exactly the same on mine and we've got very similar cars and human mass!

Pulling right henna accelerating and left when braking

Indeed, got ASTs on now. Don’t think it’s related to them!

Nope. I even filed the pads down more so they move very freely now

I’m after your ideas on this and what it can be. Brakes are not binding, all suspension is new and correctly torqued.

    Cruise wiring at squib.....

Cruise control is operated by putting 12v into one of the pins on the ecu, you then have those two wires which depending on resistance make the ECU do different things. 4 buttons work from the two wires.

    Jacking from the front

That’s what I’ve done for now. Thing was creaking the whole way up :S That’s exactly what I was thinking of. Not sure how it would attach and detatch though.

    DCI rack boot/gaiter part number

Just to finish this thread off I got the boots from ECP today. They are listed as non powersteering ones as the powersteering is on the column not the rack. FSG3057 is the number of the kit. Google or ebay that and you'll find it. The diamater of the bit on the rack is 36mm and the boot is 30mm...

    DCI rack boot/gaiter part number

the fact I know you got them from euros was a massive help! they only list two so if it wasn't one I know it's the other :D

    DCI rack boot/gaiter part number

Cheers dude. I've just been looking on Euros again. I think it's the ones for cars "without powersteering" https://webcat.firstline.co.uk/ApplicationsDetails/47281/FSG3057/ Will go there tomorrow and have a look at both :)

    DCI rack boot/gaiter part number

I've gone to change my tie rods today and need new boots. Until now I've been using the ones from a sport rack but the large inner diameter is too big at between 39 and 40mm meaning water is getting into the rack. For the life of me I can't locate a part number for a smaller diameter DCi rack...

    Jacking from the front

Evening chaps, I have quite a narrow garage making it difficult to get down the side of the car to jack it up on the sills. The subframe clearly isn't up to the job so I'm looking for suggestions/tools/jacking equipment (cheap) which will make this easier. I did think about having something...

    2005 RB 182 Cup

Glad it’s all up and running! No risk of leaks now, yippee. God your engine bay is clean! Very envious of that. Mines grim. Climate and non climate looms are different in the skuttle so sounds like it’s only plug and play for cars with manual controls.

Graham's summer 172 cup track car

I replied to you on your youtube comment buddy :) I've just taken them off today to replace them but they've served me very well for a couple of years and can't fault them that much. Perfect for driving to and from trackdays but a little too soft for my very enthusiastic driving! They're made by...

    Modifying 60mm coilovers to 54mm

I have come across this recently with my ASTs and am in the process of just changing over the hubs. You can pick hubs up for very little so why not just swap over and save the agro?

Graham's summer 172 cup track car

There was an issue with the rollers so whilst the paper says 212bhp it’s of course not possible without throttle bodies or a little snail under the bonnet! I assume it’s the same as when I went to Surrey rolling road which was 196 bhp and 170 lbft. Thanks Eddy! It’s difficult to find the time...

Graham's summer 172 cup track car

Just a quick post. I had another car day on Sunday with @Martin. and Rich. Signed up for a power 2 weight day with track obsession. Not a lot to write about really but it was a really fun day and as on all dyno days I left with a pounding headache from the lack of brain oxygen. Most interesting...

    Sensible Car. e92 330d.

Didn't realise you had one of these now Dave. I've got a very early 330d e90. I wish I got that MPG out of mine, I really struggle to see anything above 38. Waiting to do exactly the same thing. Difficult to find it in good condition though!

    PH2 clio 172 Squib question

the above is correct, any ph2 squib will be fine. The ph1 squib is totally different and the 182 version has cruise control integrated.
