I wouldn't drive with a broken headlamp adjuster, you are more likely to damage the bulbs which are fragile. Also when you go over bumps it will be all over the place and you'd fail and MOT.
Only ruin your headlights if you plan on selling your car with the xenons on. I only had spares from...
The one that's the problem is intact? I think I understand what you mean.
Sounds like one needs adjusting using the allen screw or headlight adjuster switch. The other will need the white bit inside replacing like in that thread I wrote. It's quite a fiddly job and you need an old headlight to...
Take the cap off the back and throw a photo up. Make sure the white adjuster is intact
You can adjust them using an allen key to get them in line with each other. Also the headlamp level adjustment works just like your old ones did.
Edit: just read your latest post and it sounds like that...
There is a chap on ebay breaking a dci with an n3 uch at the moment.
Surprised the spare you plugged in didn't fire anything up. My n2 controlled everything in the car which has a BG box without anything else changed. Plug and play bar starting the engine!
Uch is not specific to the car...
I bet it's still the sunroof or the door seal not correctly seated. There isn't another way for water in if you've sorted out the skuttle drains.
Sunroof water goes down the a and b pillars so you only see it in the well sometimes.
Have you gone through an accident management company. Sounds like the kind of rubbish they spin off. That is a 100% repairable panel using flatliner or miracle pull.
A cat mofoing C!!!! So they aren't going to offer you what the repairs costs are then. Accident management will have buy back...
Yeah they worked fine. Bit brighter than standard ones but not offensive to my retina.
Probably tackle that in a few months as they took ages to turn up. I'd say you will have about 25% wastage though because it's fiddley. I slipped a few times and melted an smd in the process :P
Thought I'd let you know matey. I did the SMD conversion on the clocks, was fiddly but not too difficult with a pointed soldering iron. Took about an hour or so.
Not literally! I want to just change the injector numbers in the ECU not program the uch. As some may have seen yesterday my uch bit the dust so I've got a full set second hand, ECU, uch etc
klm182 rs tuner does fault reading resetting and mapping http://fastchip.nl/
Doesn't look too bad ;) I've got the diagrams so can work out what most of that is.......just.
120 is the ecu isn't is?
After the programming it will just be a fault reader
As I understand! RS tuner is as easy as making tea.
I'm not to bothered about how user friendly it is to use. I just want to be able to do the jobs I want with it.
There aren't drainage plug neh. Not one that's easy to remove. I had this problem in the "farm dci" and just concluded the boot hadn't been shut properly at one point or another and with the crap weather it had made a pond.
I'm thinking of selling my RS tuner which I have only kept for the fault reading uses and buying an ebay special clip. I know people don't recommend them but what is clip like to use? I want to be able to do some basic reprogramming of the diesel injectors as since yesterday, when my uch broke...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
change them for silver and you'll have it. Cars are pre-wired for it. Odd though as my dynamique has silver surround from factory
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
CoryColeWilkins Don't stalk buttons, you could get arrested for that.
You're right though. Put the silver surround clocks in and the stalk with trip button and it should work. Mine started as an expression also. Beware mileage is stored in the clocks. I lost...

Piccies in there

I'm fairly sure if you get a matching ecu/uch/key fob and decoder it will all work. Dash wiring is consistent in the UCH area accross the ranges from the work I've done on clios...
That's what I've done as well but probably beat you to it so got the £48 set on ebay ;)
I hate it that a stupid circuit board can cause so many problems and be so expensive. Need it sorted in about a week ideally for when my sis is back and needs the car.
It's the UCH. You've got exaclty the same problems I have today and mine is the UCH.
Imob works via the UCH. Heated screen, lock button all go via it.
I wouldn't bother taking it to a garage. All the kit is just bolt on and off on a petrol and takes less than an hour to fit even for a llama
