ahh okay. Sounds like the lights do go through the UCH then if they are meant to turn off with the door opening.
I'm putting money on switch.
An earth will just look like a cable that's bolted onto the body like this (freshly taken)
There will be earths everywhere. As yours in a MK3 I'm not sure but the ph2 has atleast 3 the dash and the same again in the engine bay. There is one behind the headlight on PH2 or around that area.
You shouldn't need to take the board out unless you find out it's a broken wire. Just take out...
So true @Daniel
Used to see countless cars where I would ask has it got a full service history to which people would answered "yes, I've only done 8k in the last 3 years and it was done before I bought it"
had a 155k 07 focus estate once. He said its got full SH, at least an oil and filter...
Bought these last week and got them on all my calipers. Rears stick out a little more than the originals but it makes no difference to function.
I'll also second the technique of giving them a little tap from a hammer to shock the corrosion apart.
I've had 1 in about 25 snap. But I didn't use...
Yeah that's almost right. The first one is how fast your car can go though not the wheel size. If you go for stretch tyres your car goes slower at vmax. The second one is how much the po po will give you in bear finez if you get caught doing the first number. The third is the age of consent in...
This is another point in case. Listed specifically for 172/182 and says "to fit all models with rear drum brakes"

Yeah I knew the sports were all the same. I've got 1 spare laying around from the DCI so wondered if it would fit or whether I need to buy 2 completely different ones.
I know it's not the best place to look but ECP lists 25x37x52 as drum and then a separate item the same size for disc which is...
Have you done a search?
Yes you can, the 197 wheel does rub the plastic cowl for a while but wears it away quickly. I believe the airbag connections need slight modification. Can't comment on the cruise control connections but believe they use the same resistance settings and the ph2 so work fine.
^96k that's pussy mileage!
I went to look at a car yesterday, didn't know the mileage and said I would be happy if it was under 160k.
Expect to have stone chips on the bumper/bonnet as it's probably done more motorway mileage. This does have benefits though as the suspension is generally...
You could get it plugged in anywhere which has a decent machine or ideally one with clip.
Injector not coded, yes this will make it run pretty rough. I would have got the coding sorted before driving it any considerable distance. Probably still okay but that's you call really. Get it coded asap.
Even with a decat the car shouldn't really smoke.
It's best to have it plugged in. The diesel I've just got smokes and it's got very low fuel pressure.
Do you see "SET---" on the clocks when you put the cruise control rocker switch up?. R won't do anything until there is a speed set using + or -
It also won't work if it detects brake or clutch switch engaged or as said below 30kmh
If you do keep your foot down do you feel the power tail off for a few seconds before it goes like normal again. Mine was like this with the EGR fault.
350 miles is normal for half a tank of normal style driving. I get 400 when I'm a feather foot and don't go above 2k
Have a look at this mate. Us dci chaps put it all down a month or so ago :)

Is it on a custom map at the moment or slightly tweeked off the shelf one? I'd go to surrey rr if I didn't mind being embarrassed that my girlfriends DCI with the same mods is faster!
ahhhh balls, I forgot to talk to you about parking sensors yesterday
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
Yeah, just couldn't get on with it, made a £50 profit so can't complain :D. Also felt like the Blackwall tunnel in London was going to kill me!
I think I know where you mean from when I ripped the 182 apart. Should be able to take the whole of that loom...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
I would have done that today if I had a car to go and buy some. Shouldn't have sold the bike ha. Pretty sure the jubilee clips hit on the hub if I remember correctly, maybe that was another car I did the boots on.
Is it? I'll have to have a check as I thought...
Re: DCI 65 pov spec commuter OEM+
sburrell93 that's super nice of you. I may take you up on that when I've been paid (my buffer was spent this weekend damn)
Todays update starts yesterday.
Before the south east meet I started to take the rear axle off but hit a snag with the right bolt. For...
on the side closest to the door put a small thin screw drive through or small drill bit. The steel wiring fishing line through the hole and saw around the whole thing. Strike the balance between getting the wire hot enough to make it like a knife through butter but not hot enough to snap :)
