Ryan.
They will write it off due to cost of the repairs in relation to the pre-accident value, taking into account how much the car will be worth as salvage to them.
You would stand to get a better deal by retaining the salvage of the car and having it repaired through a private garage and...
Yes
Cat D
She would only have to pay her excess if she claimed for damage to her car. If you were the only claim then she wouldn't have to pay.
Don't go privately. Let me know if you want help with valuations as I'm up to date with all the ombudsman lark
Great guide by edde on here somewhere even if it does have the worst grammar in the world.
Getting a DCI was easily the best thing we've ever done. The 65 is fine and also easily going to be the most reliable and cheapest to repair. No intercooler to bust and less pipe to leak. Also more spares...
Odd question and I imagine no one has any experience of this.
Hypothetically if I broke my 182 at the end of the year would I be able to transfer the interior loom, alarm and climate control into the DCI pov spec.
I'm most interested in the cruise control function as my DCI doesn't have the...
That's no strictly true. If the mod increases the risk, is blatent or it would have contributed to the accident this would be the case. Number plate no never in a million years. Insurers will only throw out a claim if they think they would win if the dispute went to the FOS
Whether it's fault...
I do exactly the same! Swap degree for a few a levels in a year. Work at 7 am, home and then finish at nine and in the garage until 1 if something needs to be done :) I AM going to burn out soon.
I also was thinking head gasket but didn't want to put an initial leading post.
In my old lupo...
I have lost 3 arch liners during my 182 ownership. So many screws on my current ones!
FIT IT YOURSELF it could not be an easier job to get your hands dirty for the first time on the car. I rekon I could have that done in 5 minutes like Guido from Cars
the only reason I haven't sold my RS tuner is because of the fault reading ability. It's annoying you have to purchase extra modules for abs and airbag though.
Live data is very useful at diagnosing specific part malfunctions that you may not be able to pick up otherwise.
Mapping is an added...
is there mayo on the filler cap. Coolant is a sealed system so shouldn't leak out. If you can't see a leak then it may be the head gasket.

I've done a search and can't find anyone with my exhaust who's done this.
Got a ktec/janspeed cat back with decat. Am I likely to fail that 102db limit tonight or shall I take my cat just incase I need to wack it on!
TIA chaps
steering angle sensor was throwing mine up. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?677031-how-to-reset-the-steering-angle-sensor-back-to-0-after-steering-wheel-change
I'm pretty sure there is only one way the boss goes on due to spline design but make sure it's on straight.
Another problem! third this week.
I've got a flashing eml light, the one below the cruise control light.
It's only does it occasionally, mainly when on idle but also sometimes does it when driving along, could be at any speed. Usually stays on for about 30 seconds before going off.
New coil...
that sounds like mine does currently. I'm going to try and have the bearings replaced tomorrow. With a screwdriver on the alternator and my ear on the screwdriver I can hear that noise incredibly loudly.

Hopefully that works :)
Another blasted noise.
No pas or a/c installed. Alternator? Just want to confirm before I buy another one!

All done and complete bar attaching the ducting; pound land tape didn't stick. I put the steering splines on 180 degrees out (been in the garage too long) which was throwing up lights all over the shop. Sorted that, taking a whole day. All work carried out over the last 2 months is now complete...
I am unsure how anyone could measure this without a height ride guage and knowing the ride hight of a standard car. Unless you know the specific lowerings of the springs.
This exactly. I would never go back from RC5+
Braided lines and CL fluid and you're on to a complete winner. Don't worry about the rears, only good for the handbrake really! (that's a joke before anyone goes crazy about bias)
Had this problem for some time now. Thought the recent discs and ducting would resolve it. I've only driven up and down my road a couple of times and the marks have come up again.
On both of my discs in exactly the same places. Discs are Brembo HC's and pads are RC5+
On my previous discs I had...
Quick one.
Anyone got a pic of how close their rubber boot (around the pinch bolt) is to the exhaust/heatsheild. I just don't want it to go up in flames tis all.
