Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news This. I really hope they don't f*** it up and make it default with no manual option.

    New Member - Looking at getting a 197 or a 200?

The OP was in the market for a new-ish car for around £10k, probably needed a warranty and some day to day civility. You think he should have got an 8 year old shed with questionable build quality, no warranty, an interior he'd have to f*** about swapping over should he, all so he could boast...

Yep, mine's absolutely covered in it, and the car's black...nice.

    Hankook V12 vs Uniroyal RS2

'Range' is open to interpretation. Best tyre I ever had on my 172 Cup in my opinion was Yokohama's A539. Most despised them with a passion, but I found they soaked up track abuse/heat with no issues, and still gave 12-15k miles. Not as grippy in either wet or dry as PE2s for example, but in my...

    Hankook V12 vs Uniroyal RS2

Nope, no intended sarcasm...was SRS. I nigh-on wiped out a brand new set of PE2s at Llandow recently with only half a day of dry running. Never had that issue in my 172 Cup which weighed 250kgs less. So I'm trying to decide on a tyre that will handle a 1,240 kg car on track without melting...

    Hankook V12 vs Uniroyal RS2

Not looked at these before...interesting tread pattern...doesn't look like the water will have anywhere to go. Plus side I guess is that the pattern isn't riddled with loads of small blocks that generate heat. So 1.5 ton FRSs are OK on these...on track?

Difference in time between OSX and Windows re-installs

For someone whose earnings depend upon having a functioning PC at all times your point is relevant. For 99% of the population though, probably not. LOL

    Sky+ HD new interface

Got ours a week or two ago. Think the main difference apart from the colours/font is that you now get to see more program lines per page...is now 8 and before I think you could only see 6 or 7.

Just buy a 200 and be done with it instead of going for the 'look'.

    Mate's Vauxhall Vectra VXR - £5800

Exactly my thoughts. Do it properly or run Semperits all round. Mismatched tyres (of any quality) is a bit retarded.

CLIO IV RS - Trophy from page 111

Re: CLIO IV RS for 2013, Last news Do not want DSG. Couldn't care less about 5 doors. Would prefer to have NA, but hey, the world moves on.

If you had £1500 to spend on your car...

Wheel refurb, full paintwork correction, that's it. Would do a couple of carlimits handling days with the change though.

MX-5 Enthusiast seeks Clio 172 Ph1 for weekday fun and maybe more ;)

The OE clutch on my 172 Cup saw regular track use and over 120k miles from new without plate wear causing the clutch to fail. If abused though, I'm sure you could kill one in less than 20k. With these cars, mileage is only a small factor. Condition, history, and your take on the seller is far...

Playing with video and a datalgger

This is what motivates me on track, not to be fast, but to get the maximum out of the car with minimum effort and wear. For that smoothness is everything and watching Llandow footage with these overlays I realise I'm nowhere near as smooth as I thought I was, or more importantly, as I could be...

Playing with video and a datalgger

The benefits of the datalogger are HUGE, wish I'd done this when I had my 172 Cup. The 'G'-force trace and throttle bar have made me realise I have some bad habits that need fixing; lack of consistency on the brakes, not managing smoothly enough the transition from braking to steering when...

RB 182 driving like a penis

So true. I overtook a MP4-12C on the way home tonight, on a 12-plate it was either lost while looking for Goodwood, being run in, or both. 35-45 mph in a NSL 60 mph zone on a sunny day with dry roads and clear visibility is not acceptable, get out of my f***ing way. Grrrr.
