I can vouch for Panasonic. I just sold on ebay my HDC-SD90 as it was too big and fragile for mounting under the diffuser.
Great image, stabilisation and lens.
Yup, seems to handle itself well. Recorded the commute this morning but stepped down to 720 at 60fps (above was 1080/30). The suction mount and extender arms aren't the easiest to get along with.
I'm used to a mount with a ball/socket arrangement so you can move it anywhere, but with the GoPro...
Got my Hero 2 today, tried it out tonight all over the car.
Epic build quality, packaging, documentation, everything. Suction mount is ridiculously effective.
Buy one.
My GoPro HD Hero 2 Motorsports package arrived today. Got home late, tried it out.
Impressed! Light was fading so the later clips are grainy, but the rest seem good enough. Hope it's sunny at Llandow.
How thick is the non-pauper dashboard on my 200? I want to screw GoPro mounts to it, any tips?
They say not for road use on the packaging so they must have something to them over standard? Or is it just a compound change that gives them more initial bite so they feel stronger?
In the unknown here as my first outing in the 200 the standard 18k mile OEM setup held up ok, but then I was...
Quick update here, pretty much at six months of ownership and 9,000 miles now. Expensive time recently, mostly down to the brakes being given a thorough service. More to come with some aircon attention soon as well.
Llandow should hit everything a bit too, aiming for 10mpg
Thus far I'm astounded by the brakes as standard on the 200. Fresh fluid, new discs and these M1144s now in so hoping for good things on track.
So the target is flange smell without fire then.
Nice footage. We're all those shots using the 170 deg FOV?
My HD2 arrives tomorrow, can't wait. Going to get an external mic, hoping to run with to somewhere inside the airbox LOL
Tried mine for the first time last week and does not work any more - seemed fine demisting during the winter months.
Never mind - auto climate enabled but with air con disabled is how I run it usually anyway, it can regulate temperature quite happily on all but the most insanely hot days
Will...
Agree with this 100%.
I got my 172 Cup from brand new to over 100k on standard springs including plenty of trackdays.
Then a fractured spring meant either getting raped by Renault for a standard set, or fitting some Eibachs.
I went for Sportlines (as the amount of weight removed meant the car...
I've covered 900 miles on my M1144s since fitting, and I think I've heard the faintest squeal maybe twice in that time.
Hoping they do ok on track at Llandow, I don't like fire.
That's a nice car (if you're not into driving IMO).
Doesn't look right, that's all been said already.
Sadly, you've let the 'OMG look I've got a E60 (or whatever the f**k it is) BMW so you should all envy me' ego inflation go too far and been caught out. Thanks for the LOLs.
Enjoy wafting about!
I so love the "F*CK YOU!" attitude of this car's styling. I bet the other RS owners cringed when you put that next to theirs at the show LOL.
Good work Mr R.
4k miles per year from new? No thanks, has likely had a life of cold running.
Hope it works out for you though.
Have you got cambelt change evidence from 2010?
