Happened to me when i first got the car, turned out to be a broken spring. The broken bit was hitting the top of the shock when i went over bumps.

A 19 one will fit and its a higher out put.

The temp gauge is the same on most renaults of that year

Just get a water temp gauge out of another renault from the scrappy. Not easy to fit but cheaper than 69+

Its a 16v to 2.0l chip from hillpower. Just put my foot down a bit in it and its impressive! Havent had a chance to really go for it but so far so good. So loud tho!!!! Vix, dosnt worrie me hun, change the subject as much as you like.

Got the car back again, gave it a bit more this time (wow) and the pressure dropped. So dont think there is a prob, i hope. It just seems to like sitting high when cold.

At starting temp

Yeah went and got another 16v head mate. It all went in ok, bit tappt but guess it will be for a while. Drove it home nice and steady, went to use it the next day and my starter motor went! I just dont have any luck lately! So that was fixed yesterday, gonna go pick it up sometime today. Then...

Mine was 3 bar at idle and 5 bar at 3000rpm.

But how high can it go? I feel that if i push the car a bit the pressure will go above gauge limit! I take it the gauge goes just above 6 bar for a reason?

Just noticed that my gauge says close on 5 bar. Is this right? Would the 2L bottom end make it higher? I just dont recall it being that high. Sitting there it was 3 but driving it went up to 5 at times. Not going over 30mph or 3k revs.

The standard clutch is fine, Not too sure bout the starter. I used the megane one and was fine for a day now i need a new one?? Think its just the starter went. But the valver one is no good for it.

I agree. But the pbv still gave me 6 or 7 brake. All else i have is a exhaust and a induction kit. The engine wasnt well worn, had 50 something k on it at the time. Hard to belive i know, but it happened.

No always been bout starter motors lol so is a 2.0l megane starter the same as a williams?

My PBV gave me a 6 or 7 bhp increese when i had it set up on the rollers. Nick R will vouch for that. I was shocked with the increese too. And it wont cost £110 if he buys mine off me;)

Its up to you mate. May add a few bhp. I got bout 7 extra out of mine when i had it on. Wont need to re map the ecu tho.

Not worth the hassel of selling it and then buying another one. Ill have to get on to nick bout it then.
