Yeah, only skim the head if the gasket has gone, if your just changing it then there is no point.

They did do one on throttel bodies that was 200 something. from what i can remember.

But its gonna have a different bottom end. Does this make any difference? The pullys may be in different possitions.

Couldnt find any gravel so gave rice a go. And the bleach has been in there since 3. Still not looking too white. May just get a new one, or live with a dirty one.

With a 16v head and megane bottom end would it be megane head bolts that are needed? Gotta use a Williams head gasket.

Want to clean the whole coolant system on the 16v. Ive flushed it all through but know its not gonna be clean. Anyone know what will give it a good old clean out? Also the water tank is orange, how can i get this back to the original colour, whatever that is?? Its filled up with hot water and...

Yeah if the belt is slipping you will notice it on the power steering on full lock. To change a alternator on a rt cant be as bad as a 16v can it??

£49 for the gasket £74 for the set A fair bit better than Mr Renault wanted!!! £350 to chip the ECU tho????

I wouldnt cut anything! No need, doubt the sensor has gone.

Id say alternator, could be either tho. get down to quick fit for a test.

How much do they want for one? Dont they just get it from renault?

If it flashes -30 there is a short circuit. The sensor is where Jas has said, could be a loose conection on the inside of the car side of the wing mirror.
