Hpi checks are a bit useless when it comes to crash damage as its easy to repair a car with out informing the insurance company. It is good for finding out if there is outstanding finance though.

i'd be happy for the 4500k it's far better than getting stuck with the fail car.

if you stretch a bit more for the konigsports you get adjustable damping and height so they are much better suited if you want to use your car on track as well as road. Its all down to what the car will be used for. just looking at your avatar it looks like you have done track before.

they are supposed to be pretty good from people i've spoke to. They use koni dampers which can't be a bad thing as the koni sport kits are supposed to be very good on the clio's. ooops i'm thinking of fk konigports not highsports ignore me.

And if they wanted to be really akward they could get the plate valued and ask you for that much for it.

I'd pay a grand max for it. i Know if you get lucky and have the cash there you can get real bargains but thats cheap as no one wants it.

My mate works in a body shop and seeing those cars totally puts me off buying anything thats been recorded. I've seen full roofs and sides being put onto cars and its not nice to know they are going back on the road.

All i got was offers of part exchanges when i put my vectra up for sale and they were all for silly expensive to run cars like imprezas

if its low mileage and 7 owners that says a lot about the car. Obviously people have bought it realised oh yes it is a shed and sold it on real quick. I wouldn't even consider it no matter how cheap it was. to give you an idea i test drove an mr2 the other day looked a nice low mileage example...

i was thinking exactly the same thing while cleaning the engine bay today. I think hammerite would probably look best.

I think you misunderstood i just meant i wouldn't buy one from wrc which is where that one is being sold.

Not one of them was in good condition either inside or out and the owners were not even remotely helpful.

i looked at some e30 m3's in the wrc place and trust me you wouldn't buy them.
