Today me and Jonff went for a drive round Wales so i thought i'd post a couple of pics i took. I didn't take many as tbh i was having too much fun driving to stop and mess around with the camera.
The pictures
The bucket seat is coming out soon and being sold so i'm just going to run a normal seat. I don't want a sport interior in it now as most have cracked leather and bobbly alcantara plus i like the darkness of the seat that are in it.
dutty your lowrider a packet of skittles and £50 and we have...
The dash is easy its the electrics that are a nightmare, basically none of the switches are the same. I wouldn't recomend doing it to anyone but it does look far better.
I gave the clio a quick wash today as i've been using it daily for the past week. Since it was quite clean i thought i'd get some pics of it. I've been undecided what to do with it recently and was thinking of selling it an going back to one car but i've started to enjoy it more now it has an...
As long as you keep the helper springs on the front you'll be fine with them. I took the helper springs out and then wound them right to the bottom so no wonder mine rode like they did as they had no travel left in them. It did look good though.
they are £456 for the kit. I think it works out cheaper buying it as the kit than just as dampers. Just sell the springs and it'll make it cheaper again.
not when you can't drive it hard for fear of being pulled by the police. I got pulled twice in two weeks when i used it daily recently. Now its quiet it doesn't draw any attention to its self. Its still got induction roar from the pipercross filter
Had them on a corsa and wasn't too impressed but can't be any better/worse than the racelands or vmaxx. I'd give them a go if you can get them around the £170 mark as thats what i paid for them. When i bought them you just put a bid in and they'd either accept it or add a tenner on to it...
Mine was stripped out but only running on eibach sportlines. I found the back end was rather lively but the car was riding higher than standard so that won't have helped. I think if you had coilovers and then got the car corner weighted you wouldn't have an issue.
I still keep looking at the mr2's i just need some cash to add to the value of the clio. Instead of selling the clio and having no second car for a while i'll keep it till i've got a couple of thousand pounds saved up.
