nope ph1 and ph2 electric window switches are completly different. one set has about 8 wires and the other about 11 and the way they fasten in the door is completly different too.
some of the wires will obviously do the same thing me and a mate had a play but couldn't solve it. my dad should...
Sorry i didn't go back in that thread.
i used the ph1 clocks as the ph2 are fly by wire and don't work. the heaters work and so do the fan settings. thhe things that don't work yet are as follows
interior door lock button
recuirculation button
hazzard switch
electric windows switches.
to...
Not yet no, i'm going to get my dad to do that i'm shite at anything to with wiring. Its all completly different not even the colours match up which is annoying. Did you manage it in yours?
If its not a daily driver you could have something special sat there for the same money. I'd personally go buy an elise or buy a house so your mum can't tell you what to do.
never did post up again so here are some pics now
just need door pulls off a ph1 172 so i can fit the standard electric window switches and to fit the drivers seat as the bucket seat is being removed.
i've got twin lambda sensors. i'll get it and give it ago as its nothing lost. If not i could always get the blueflame system re welded but i want the car quieter as i'm selling it.
I've got a spare cat and thats twin lambda too lol Brown Bear should know that as he said he was buying it...
well they said they gave a little kid £200 to nick the car and the £500 was for them for putting the plan in to action.
I don't condone this its just want the dodgy c***s told me.
Cats are supposedly not needed on diesels and they will still go through the mot fine. I was going to do it on mine but was unsure if it would start sounding like a tractor.
I used a puller on it and it was still a nightmare to get off. Trust me its annoying as hell with out a rear wiper as i've done it on mine. as soon as the window gets dirty you can't tell who's behind you.
I remember being offered a pretty much new impreza for £700 by some lads in liverpool when we went looking at another car. They said anything thing we want £700. I politely said no and i've never been back to liverpool since.
Sorry thats not a dig at all people who live in liverpool
if i was a car thief this would be an amazing thread for me. This is what car they have and where it is parked. Why not tell us where the keys are kept too?
they are oe spec they wouldn't be able to sell them otherwise.
as said above they are brembo disks with mintex pads read better before judging. And yes i'm selling it but not because i can't afford it but want something better than a 172.
why pay £150 for just rears when you can do it...
I want to travel to europe in it so need reliabilty and although i love mk1 mx5's i think its too old for me and what i want from it. There was an mr2 at oulton park about a week back simple breathing mods and stripped out on eibach springs and it was doing really well against other cars. I may...
I've test drove two mr2's now one was s**t but the other was great funyou could get the back end out so easily :) i also sat in a mk2 mx5 and felt too cramped up. A did drive a lads eunos import and it was fun but are the gearboxes always really stiff?
As good as the mx5's are i think i'm...
its brakes international in bolton. When i got them for the vectra from there it cost me £134 for brembo front and rear disks with mintex oe spec pads front and rear. so no not plastic.
I can fit them my self so thats no issue.
I've had a quote for £180 for front and rear disks and pads. Does anyone know anywhere cheaper or is that the best i'll get? thats with the bearings pressed into the read disks.
I've been offered a standard exhaust of a 172 cup as i need an exhaust for my ph1 as the back box fell off (blueflame cat back system 2.5 inch) will it fit or can i make it fit with a little work?
