Yes your right, and the whole salvage repair industry is wrong and don't make any money. People still reshell new shape clios etc and make a good margin.

ive never seen a michelin tyre not like this on the 185/55/15 size unless they are nearly new. All the ones that come in as salvage are like that. Shame as ive never seen a cont like that, think its the squarness of the sidewall that makes them prone to it.

Renault system is down at work, when its back up ill check the colour code according to the reg.

Comedy that, but suspect though isnt it. Would like to have a close look at the VINs. Wouldn't expect an 06 to have that much damage on top of the headlights. Only early ones are usually that bad. Not RS door sills, and no sport badge.

We do the changers at £40, so its not a great concern, but it would have had one from new.

No, normal to low if anything. obviously something mechanical, ie the rack, its not a problem ive ever heard of before.

some sort of pressure swith inside the rack? Its light when the car is stood still as well.

Front lower gearbox mount (rubber block) between subframe and gearbox. Top Mount (under battery) and dogbone (rear stabilizer)

on the ebay listing it mentions the roof dent.

Thought i read this one had a dent in the roof IE Kinked shell? Description been changed? Said it looked like something had been dropped on the roof as there was a dent just above the B Pillar on the roof which is where it kinks when it has a front end shunt. Still a good buy imo.

Late 172's and 182's have the plate. We hear of it quite a bit. Once its popped the clip once it will keep coming out. All our rebuilt ones will soon have a plate but the engineering chap never gets round to machining them for me.

They don't have a dual mass. Its probably just diesel knock which is normal when you load it up a bit.
