Yeh was in the RR mate, Just a flying visit to nandos tbh. Could have parked over the top of it, its lowww, ran out of cliospares business cards to write on.
all come from tested engines. little tip would be to get some carb/brake cleaner and just spray the sensor with it, in case it has something in it. If there proves to be a problem with the sensor get in touch and i can send another right away.
Injectors or pump would be my guess, my advice with DCI's though is find a garage that knows exactly what they are talking about. Seems a lot of the parts we sell turn out to be misdiagnosed faults. Garages seem very quick to diagnose the common problems.
they do give up on them a lot, is there any sign of oil leaking from it? it will be OK to drive. just dont go pushing it in the corners if its sticky due to the oil leaking it upsets the suspension dynamics.
Yes its my company. We dont list all the cars we break but that one is now sold. We do get them in regularly, the last reconditioned one was sold on saturday, our rebuilder is drawing up a custom design for a plate to replace the circlip like some of the gearboxes already have with a metal plate...
Were all out at the moment, fully reconditioned units are available from 400. Fully rebuilt with new seals/bearings, cases shotblasted and painted with 12 month warranty.
hardly any point just refitting the circlip as they just pop out again. The problem will almost definitely be the circlip. Also welding the circlip rarely works as it doesnt weld well to the hardened steel.
The exposed wire problem is common, its the pointless metal box on the back of the engine that chafes through the loom that passes under it, other problems include throttle bodies on those and petentiometers.
there is no such thing as air con fluid, just condensation from the air drying process. More likely a leak, often blocked drain under the scuttle panel, i recommend taking off the drivers side scuttle panel and having a look underneath if there is a pool of water next to the blower motor.
its usually the resistor rather than the motor, there is a way to test, but i cant remember off hand, anyway, we stock both, motor is 40, resistor is 60, both with a 3 month warranty.
spoiler looks pap, as do the add on side skirts and front lip. I wouldn't want them if i had a 197, to 9 out of 10 people they will think 'chav boy racer' imo.
they should have done a spoiler like the old cup one, without the cup spoiler on the 197 it looks like an authentique spoiler from the...
