Its dead straightforward, ill explain when you collect, but basically undo it from the sender and there is just enough space to fit it down the side of the tank, then just clip it on to the holders that run down the floor pan and clip the joint together at the bottom of the bulkhead.
its suprising on some salvage cars how little makes it a write off. Cat C mk1 clio we got the other day had a dent in the wing, looked like somebody had kicked it once.
the engine block is different between the 100 and the others. Starter motor on the front instead of the rear like the 65 and the 80. 100 also runs a JH cable shift gearbox.
as he says, just tap it back out. thin piece that joins the flitch to the front crossmember. Not long till the cat C brigade will arrive, telling you it should never return to the road.
Wouldn't recommend it, the injection systems are weak enough without adding something that has different viscosity depending on temperature. All the 1.5 DCI Clios regardless of age use Delphi injectors and Pump which are near enough the same.
lol, i HPI'd it anyway. I didn't even look round it when we went down to be honest, i took the recovery truck to collect it, if it was a nail i was going to break it.
110k miles :)
No history of the belts, its booked in to have them done this week, spending a bit on it as she is going to be going to uni in it every day. The car is in suprisingly good condition considering its mileage. I small scrape on the front bumper, interior and engine bay is very tidy.
Just got back with it at 5am. Exhaust is fine, just the heatshield has fallen down, needs some front discs, 2 wheels refurbing and a foglight. Drives perfectly, 1 owner from new, all the documents etc. Everything seems to work fine.
well we sell the used shaft complete for £80, Number plate light and loom for £15, and its dead easy to fit. how can part of the shaft be missing? the car wouldn't drive.
were closed until early next week but we should have the correct one in stock, or if not i bought one today with one in. they seem to last ok. Yours at a guess if its the 1.4 sport will have the E7J 634 engine with the box that doesnt have the tapered bottom. If you are interested, please PM us...
FFS can't understand some people, sold as seen. Don't know why even bothered contacting you tbh, tell him you will replace the gearbox and sell it back to him for 3.5k. I Would have give you 2.5k with the broken box.
