I would get a voltmeter on the battery if you can jump start it and it runs test the alternator the battery should be about 12v think the alternator should kick out about 13/14

Am I right by saying there's 2 under the bonnet next to each other as mine has one and next it someone has bypassed it with clips/fuse/wire contraption I brought 2 and replace mine it wouldn't start, I put the wire/fuse back in (right hand one as you look at it) and it starts any one know why...
Got a call from the gearbox place and it's all done but they can start the car, when I got it tow by the AA I couldn't get it start then had to push it into position, just when you sort one thing out some else fooks up

As long as it is just a standard rebuild they do that for £350 and to take it out and refitt is £150, hope it does feel good after all the hassle only had the car 2 months
I repaird a hole in my alloy rad on my fiesta Rst with that 2 part apoxy glue cost's about £9 had to take it out laid it down so the glue ran into the hole and never went wrong again
Ive had a fiesta rs turbo for 6 years and still own a rs1800 fiesta and my cup is so much better it's unreal don't think my Clio will ever be as fast as my Rst (unless I push it off a cliff) but power isnt every thing, my Clio needs a lot of work but look mint, but drive's handels feels 100% better
