mine is pissing out coolant but mine it due to a perished pipe. when the engine is running you can see it pumping out. what ever you do don't let it over heat.
Have you seen the car yet in person? if not prestons not too far away could pop over and have a look at it, it may save you traveling all that way if its not a good one
I don't like my new one as much as my old one and after driving my vectra the clio deffinately feels old. Apart from that it still puts a smile on my face just coz of all the noise it makes, its a proper little stripped out racer :)

everyone i know who have them love them. as long as you can live with a phone the size of a house brick and no media messages or video recording then you should love it
my first car cost me £1200 after two years of ownership it must have cost me upwards of 3.5k including repairs you just need to know when enough is enough. i ended up getting a newer car on finance as it worked out cheaper paying £130 a month than keep paying the repair bills.
Would it not be cheaper to just get a new engine put in? i know it sounds extreme but you pick up engines for about £100. i'm sure one of the locals will fit it as it shouldn't take them that long.
Get it re-mapped mate you will be amazed at the difference in performance and mine gets better mpg now. The clio is not much quicker than my vectra now :)
Is it one kit fits all 172/182? i know the induction bend is different between ph1 and ph2 so what about the coolant kit? i'm in desperate need for the main coolant pipe and it looks like it will be cheaper to go samco than from renault.
My mates williams cambelt snapped finally after 13 years and only 61k. He had only just bought the car and had the cambelt kit in the car when the belt gave up. You'll be ok but i would do it as soon as you possibly can
Cost him £700 to get it repaired so it up to you which way you play it.
yeah rang them up the number is on the internet. it would be worth while seeing how they compare to the likes of greenlight as i know greenlight was cheap in the past.
On the phone he said i can do any modifications i want as long as its not over 190bhp. at the minute i have listed
eibach...
i heard about them through the vauxhall boys. they were the cheapest i could find but i wrote my car off a couple of months back so no one was really cheap. last year i paid £550 on the clio ph1 172 i'm paying £750 for another ph1 172 and for my vectra £650. the no claims is only mirrored onto...
Any one else with them? i like the way they work.
On the clio policy i can do what ever i like to the car and aslong as it doesn't go above 190bhp the premium will not increase. I thought that was a good way of working coz with Greenlight everytime i changed something they would charge a £25...
