Ok check the electrical bracket at the back of the engine ontop of the ECU it can wear the wires
Check your fuses and relays
Check your coil pack
Does your imobilier wanring light go off?
Type D Renault coolent you need I forget how much its here* its £20ish for 5 liters I think which should be enough.
Not to difficult to do just takes a bit front bumper off.
* Renault recomended fluids/amounts/grades to be used.

Yep Ported valver head on 2.0 bottom end rebuild with cat cams would be very quick.
How much can you DIY?
ECU can be mapped its common now to be done.
You'd need a remap for the 2.0 bottom end the cams are worth sticking in if your rebuilding and remapping anyway there not cheap though...
Yep stock are good the lines are handy but realy deepdns what you want you could easily argue stock calipers are junk.
If you know how to drive there fine. If you don't then there not.
If done right would be fine realy ok not stock lifespan for bearing etc but it would last.
The box would need to be all new but that sort of power could be done.
No need IMo to do waterpump its off the aux belt so if it does need chnaging it not like a 1.2/1.4 etc.
The aux belt has to be chnaged when you do the cambelt as it has to be removed and shoulnd't be reused.
