Nope dampers are fine they will wear out quicker but how much is a grey area no one can put a definate time its what you accept mine I was unhappy with after about 50k on stock springs other have had 60k on cars with lowered springs and still be happy.
Anyone who'd done it will agree ith not wrth it you needto much and the potentail issues are massive I know most transplants need a second gearbox as the first always are broken. Plus electric have trouble so you need to find a helpful Renault dealership.
Your looling at a load to get it doen and fitted.
Forget it. stick a 172/182 engine in or leave it IMO.
The fitment costs will be huge you need the keys as well.
Yep ride and handling arn't good at all IMO.

Have a look at the mounts under the bonnet as you get someoen to turn the wheel check there not catching on the bodyshell.
550 injectors won't last long though there limited to about 360hp unles you are messing about with the pressure behind them. And with the spec of the rest of the engine I'd guess your going to have very close on that and some spare isn't a bad thing best not running 100% .
Sounds like a great...

Depends where you go price waise but about £350 from a dealers
Depends how strong you want ti piston and rods are the frst to look at depends what you have it at th moment. Otherssei you need to start looking at the crank etc but that mega money.
1.5 bar thats serious boost how come you need so much that on a stock engine if you sort the pistons out etc will make serious Hp your looking at loads of parts and price.
Keep to the stock torques though I think.
You'll need one heck of a clutch box won't last long if you abuse it infact...
The Mk2 has a safer body shell. Crashes are bound to happen realy and if I'm gonna crash forget handling hp feedback etc give me some strong body shell gives me confidence. Also its easier to get in and out of plus there younger and stiffer and no rust realy to worry about. They have more space...

Depends what compound your looking at.
Green stuff are a popular good upgrade but stock are more than adequate for most.
