Do you know which relay it is. Unless i'm retarded. So there no relays relevant to the fuel pump under the passenger side of the dash? Water has got to the top of the pump. Ive got another pump in the car im breaking. How can i go about swapping them over?
not always true though. Car might have only been used to visit relatives or something... so few long journeys... but i see what you mean on the whole oil isn't heated up properly, parts not at optimum temperature etc etc.
they are black as standard... thats why i didn't get your message.. im breaking a ph quick and repairing one atm.. and they both have black one... its just renault raiding the parts bin again.
perfect for spraying up as theyre a bit scuffed up

Re: Would you buy a 100,000 mile 182
False economy imo... unless you can get it for more like 4k, you can be pretty sure it may need some major work at some stage. Although the engine is probably fine. Will be motorway miles so, oil kept warm all the time and bits won't be as worn as 100k...
I'm slowly listing parts that haven't already been sold. But please contact me if there is anything you want
here is what i have on atm... im adding new items every night starting at 8.30pm

its a decent setup. Its even got an additional rear mount which is well thought out. Im sure its a specialist one rather than something that is just knocked together. as it seems well fabricated.
i wanted to know the brand before i started pricing. looks recently fitted..
also comes with extra rear mount. and modified standard mount to be fitted together. and all hardware. Looks to have been fitted very recently.
Having a problem starting a ph1 172 ive just bought in.
immobilizer light goes out etc... and the car turns over... just doesn't want to fire.
ive took the back seats out and the cover off the pump lid. And when you turn the key into position 2 it doesn't prime. Now the car is lightly...
i think its a retrim as the stitching goes at a strange angle on the back. Stitching is of a very good standard though. Certainly does tidy up the interior. although i love the ph1 172 ones when they're in good condition.
if its to do with that noise its making... its not usually the mount, the nut that holds it to the subframe falls off/comes loose... and means the threaded part clunks around in the subframe. theres a good chance this is what the noise your car is making is caused by.
Ive got a stealth system, has quite a squarish back box and a very curly tail pipe that hides behind the bumper, i can get a pic if need be.
thanks
