Yeah D300, only 2nd outing with it. 1st for motor sport, gettin a bit more used to it. I'm a Nikon convert. The camera coped brilliantly with the rubbish light. It was like dusk for the whole day.
Was a much better day than I was expecting.
The Merc was an SL65 bi turbo, ran 6 times, quickest was a 12.1 and slowest was 12.3. Stupidly fast, must have been using some sort of launch control the way it pulled away.
Fiats were well quick, one had an alfa sud engine other was running a V8...
Went to this just over a week ago. Morning was rubbish due to mist and track not drying out eventually dryed up and got some ok photos. First time out with the new camera, so was quite a steep learning curve:
No they started running about 1 ish I think. First few cars struggled with traction, but after that there were some quite quick cars.
I was in my bro's Escort Cosworth and wish I'd taken the Clio to use on the strip. It was unlimited runs for the last hour and no queues.
Were you there?
SD channels on Sky HD box look slightly better to me, but I put that down to the fact the box is connected via HDMI rather than rgb scart.
Sky HD really is great, watchin the chelsea match on it tonight, detail is amazin.
Mine is better on fuel now. Couple of mpg. It's something to do with the cat causing over fueling to stay within emissions levels. I think.
Biggest benefit is it sounds great when accelerating.
Downside is it is boomy at motorway speeds
I've not heard of anyone get the deal that Daz did.
Sky wouldn't budge from £250 for me unless I took out sky broadband and sky talk. This got me £50 off. As an existing customer thye wanted £150 for a sky+ box, so for an extra £50 I got HD.
As I said earlier you WILL have to pay the £60...
I've had sky HD for a couple of weeks and it's definately worth it! I'm only watching it on a 22" LCD but the difference between skysports HD and SD is amazing. You can make out the player names on shirts easier, there seems to be less motion blur and everything just looks that much crisper. I...
Well my first opinions aren't great. Turned it on 45 mins before I played footy tonight. Thought great i'll have a quick blast. 45mins later the damn thing hadn't finished updating, installing and what not. I know it only happens the first time and the xbox can be the same. But it'll have to be...
I've had a ferrari experience about 7 years ago. The whole day was great but only ended up with 7 laps. All the others were in proton and Elise. Bit of a con.
Single seater at Silverstone was greta though. Driver briefing, thrown straight into the car to follow a pace car that slowly got...
But if the car had been run to the bottom of the tank then you may have only filled a small amount and not enough for the fuel light to turn off.
I wouldn't worry about it, it's not your car and £7.50 will easily cover the 25 or so miles you need to do.
After using virgin tv/broadband/phone I wouldn't sign a contract with them. Ever! I know of three people who have yet to have a full month of either broadband connection or television. It's a joke. You phone to complain and they try to fob you off saying there is no problem yet magically an hour...
