Obviously the trendlines will fit if they are taken straight out of a clio but if they arent is it just a case of getting recaro subframes?
They seem.a bit pricey for my liking I mean I could buy a f**king sofa for that money and I dont care much if seats are leather lol
So what seats has everyone got?
I was going to use a Cobra fixed back with harness but thought as its my main car it may be wiser to get some reclining recaro style seats.
What confuses the hell out of me is when you may have a cheap brand and how are you supposed to fit them?
Cobra seem a...
Sorry I meant a panel filter inside the standard airbox. How much are cooksport springs? Could always give them a go I suppose. Probably get some cup dampers to go with them.
Yeah T1r's are a good compromise. LOL yeah I would actively encourage anyone NOT to buy Jinyu's as all I have experienced is massive understeer absolutely everywhere! I know it doesnt help its that time of year where the roads are permenantly damp and have "leaf crap" all over them too!
I had...
I dont understand why you should have to declare any modifications other than engine upgrades.
For example better brakes and suspension makes for a safer car...so they should pay is not the other way round!
Its annoying as the car came with these fresh tyres but they are so crap its unreal. I sort of want to just wear them out well thats what the financial part of my brain is saying. The common sense side says get some rainsport 3's for the winter.
Thought I'd try taking the Clio down my favourite road today and was shocked to find it was probably slower than in my Twingo RS or even my old 1.4 106!
The car seemed to want to torque steer everywhere and follow all the cambers and ruts etc which was not nice if im honest and it felt like the...
Im also from Southend....don't see many Clio's about really. Bedford is quite nice on a car I would say. Its flat with nothing to hit (unless retarded) the only corner I dont like is the first one as the brakes take a hammering from that one and its a slow as hell corner.
Ah cool. I thought maybe there was a reason why people tend to have them on. I was thinkingnof removing the bonnet mat thing too but realised it probably helps things look clean so decided to leave that on!
I must say im not a fan of mk1's but yours looks pretty tidy. Plans sound good too.
I...
Just out of interest why do people on here always have the engine cover on? I puy mine in the shed as soon as the car had its first clean! How is the induction kit fitted by the way?
Buy the cheapest best condition car you can afford.
I dont think its going to matter too much if its sport or cup or 172 or 182 they all seem to pretty much be the same. Sure a sport is heavier but im sure you will probably remove half the stuff anyway and if you dont you'll just have a more...
