10-40 is fine so is 5-40 so is 0-40 the lower the first number the better is is in the cold 10 weight is fine down to -25 people on here ofnte go a bit excesive on exact spoec but don't serve the cars enough IMO.

Reart piston well its £15 or so there 2 typres so price depends by a few quid. Easy to fit but IMO chnage the shoes at the same time and re-bleed the brakes it all DIY stuff realy if you've some mechnaical knowedge realy or...
There a sotkc manual which covers 995 of the bits there also a CLio 172 Renault mnaul form the Renault system (if you want copy drop me a email eddeuk yahoo.co.uk) but stock maaul cover 99.9% of bits.
Check the rear axle of the car there should be an adjuster on it check its not come and become brocken. Also the beams can be ajusted both by Renault on there computer and with spanner under the bonnet
113 top end (slight hill help but that GPS speedo about 125) otherwsie about 105 (ggps speed as indicated its about 110) would be the limit.
13.7 or so to 60.
The fuel save tyres do amke a difference but IMo don't bother.
All the other stuff doesn't work resisters/boxes/magnet etc Renault need high MPG to sell the cars they don't let these little potential gains get lost.

The Mk1's are easy to make road legal realy just need a few forms and a horn.
The Mk2 your looking at need a few more bits but there nothing serious at all then SVA it.
Insurers can ask what they want there no limit.
If your not to blame for the crash then you don't even need to be insured to be covered as your cliamaing on there policy you don't pay any excess etc its all at the other companys risk.
