    The Flame red 172 is mine, and that silver 1*2 was turbo or supercharged (more likely supercharged I think). Mine is a 1.9 DCi etc, and needs mapping atm so certainly not that fast yet.

Yeah I do need to trim that boost pipe, however I'm going to move the AFM once my K&N turns up, so going to do it then, in case I need to move that boost pipe at all. I did clean it Friday night!     I didnt notice that mani didnt have a dent, the one I have here still has got a dent, I dont believe its caused by the ARB or subframe, its got to be factory, its too perfect and Ive seen it on loads, moreso later 182s. Good progress though sir, need to see this car at some point!

    Could be rod, or little end failure. Plus it could also be oil issue or similar.

    I'm going to look into why Marks engine failed before I say fit ARP's. I know of plenty of engines that are fine without, and I suspect its not a bolt failure on Marks, but I shall see before I commite. Progress will start as soon as I have space for two cars, so could be a while!

    Could be a s**t bearing then. Either risk it again with pattern, or IMO, the best option is genuine, which I think you can only buy the updated design now, which Is damn expensive!

    Has been some properly good progress made in such a short time tbh. Couple of bits... "Keeping it tidy", while the loom on the floor is a fooking mess. Sideburns need to go too, I look like more of a hobo than usual. I missed the sunglasses on that loom pic lol.

    be careful with 100w bulbs, as you're doubling the amp draw (8amp to 16amp) and more than doubling the heat.
