Sounds like could be small stone stuck in caliper/slider or behind pads. Jack it up spin the wheel should be able to see if its rubbing etc.

^^+1 When you say the tapping is it alot louder as revs increase, sounds like youve eliminated dephaser and lifters which to me leaves piston and botom end shells/crank. Could it be a bent valve?

I noticed extra vibration with washers fitted under drivers mount metal to metal I guess. Could it be that little front subframe mount? Also how are your top mounts? could it be play in top mounts or strut top moving about on acceleration fouling the body/turret?

Have you aligned the black bracket correctly on gear box/dog bone? And also undone/loosened the dogbone when pulling upper mounts forward, are your gb and os engine mount/dogbone oe items and fairly new?

No brought mine from k tec they look exactly like your pic above but purple, arrived in a powerflex box also. Why exactly are above wrong for a ph1 I havent tried fitting mine yet?

Is it a welsh advert? Ifso they mark sales rite up would explain. To do with less cars in Wales so dealers say they command a higher premium I think? Stupidly can remember a ph1 when I was looking welsh advert ph1 4ok with 1 owner from new 6999 when 2ok mint examples were fetching 5.5-6k max.

As above and check ph1 buying guide out, theres few little nigglies to look for that can all add up.
