The corner that's always biting me back with the Clio Cup is Redgate at Donington - the first corner at the end of the pit straight. It's the exit that I have trouble with - literally fighting the car not to drift wide, or trundling out of it far too slowly. Once out of there - I can easily...

Very smooth m8! That clip just highlights how boring Silverstone is compared to other UK circuits, imo. Very flat, very open - not a patch on other tracks like Oulton, Donington, Brands etc. Not that I've actually been on track there, but even as a spectator - it feels very clinical and soulless.

Had a few rounds last night - including starting my career in the Clio Cup. I'm falling in love with that Lotus Renault 98T - talk about BOOOOOOOST! Found it strangely controllable on the 'Ring when I thought it would be an utter beast. Respect the Go Pedal and it handles pretty well. I have...

    Newbie!!! Just bought a 182

Hi Paris - and welcome! There are few guides on here that might help you with the headlight issue? http://www.cliosport.net/threads/welshnames-monaco-172.737655/page-3#post-10206997 http://www.cliosport.net/threads/headlight-correction-without-a-pc-polisher.461306/

Same here. I've had more fun driving the Evo and Meggy around than some of the higher spec cars.

Go back and read the gt5 comments. So many shared problems. But gt was less buggy. To be fair - GT should be less buggy - given that it runs on a single platform - as does Forza. The scale of Project Cars and the fact that it's running on multiple platforms (including the WiiU - whateverTF...

Totally agree. I had a couple of minutes on the keyboard and also the 360 controller - and both were useless. Stuck the G25 on there and game is transformed - as others, it's the closest driving experience I've had on the PC to the 'ol classic Simbin games. Its such a rewarding game to play -...

Headlight restoration kits - do they work?

Cheers for all the comments guys - I guess it's one of those things that I haven't got the technique or the patience or both to sort out! :P Dan - that's a really good offer - thanks for that. I might even take you up on it! :)

Headlight restoration kits - do they work?

Well, I've had my 2nd attempt using the 3M Headlight Restoration Kit and I must admit that the results have left me underwhelmed. I think it doesn't help with the difficulty of using the kit with the headlights in-situ. The drill is constantly being fought against - forever wanting to drag a...

    Gameplay Video Thread

Here's a couple all captured at 720p on the PC using nVidia's Shadowplay feature. Call of Juarez : Gunslinger - not bad at all for £2.99! Bit of Warframe - using the Nekros warframe against the Corpus Clio Cup self-fail on Project Cars - into 1st you go....... BOOM! Focus RS all over...

That still seems quite small though? The PC version is a 15GB download through Steam - then no doubt there will be a patch. And that's not installed. I suspect it will surpass 20GB when that happens. I can understand a few hundred MB difference - even a GB or two. But to be less than a third of...

    The £600 Cup Track Build

Great thread - loved it so far. So jealous of your engine bay! I wish I had a place to drop the engine and clean it up myself, though I presume I would be breaking several underground parking laws! Yep - the lack of blue spray in the interior would bug me too. Also, your headlights need...

Good thread! I might try and get something uploaded with ShadowPlay today. I'm dropping the recording spec to 720p at the absolute best as my slow broadband will take an age to upload anything bigger.

    A good combat flight sim?

That's one of the big draws with Warframe for me. Only a small fraction of the game is PvP - and can be totally ignored, if you so wish. I tried it once - killed a few and died a lot. Just pointless - especially up against the Mastercard Kiddies who rinse their parental's credit card and have...

Anyone handy with Visio? I've got a simple question...

Sussed it - it adds another 'window' to the worksheet that can then be selected and edited.

Anyone handy with Visio? I've got a simple question...

Pretty much new to it - just dabbled with a few basic flow charts. I can't seem to be able to edit the Title header when I insert a Border & Title. It must be a really straight-forward fix - but I can't see it and Google hasn't been much help! Cheers, D.

    A good combat flight sim?

I can believe that. I tried the tank side of the game and my standard rounds had the equivalent damage as chucking tomatoes at the enemy....

    A good combat flight sim?

I remember those from back in the day, Andy. They did the Operation Overlord games, didn't they? Looked very good for their time, iirc too. The original Falcon by Spectrum Holobyte was jaw-dropping at the time. I remember having my trusty 'ol C64 and my m8 having Falcon on his Amiga. The...

    A good combat flight sim?

Have you tried War Thunder? Free to download - quite arcadey in feel - but full of active players. You can either play in tank vs tank battles - or go in the air - take on other fighter aircraft or go in the ground attack role against the tanks. Depends how heavy-duty to want to go. There are...

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

Could be tricky m8! :P I do want to try some testing for the lolz though. Like the Quake3 engine or something similar. I tried the original Medal of Hono(u)r from 2002 the other day and as soon as I maxed the settings out, the bottom half of the screen went black. Clearly the concept of SLi...

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

Connected the monitor properly last weekend. Now have the full Quad-SLi recognised, rather than the 3-Way SLi as seen above. I love just how pointless having four GPUs in one PC actually is! :tongueout:

    Steering rack bushes worn?

I wouldn't have thought a steering rack would make cracking noises on acceleration or braking though? I know the heat shield on my rack was catching and making a noise - it still does slightly now tbh. Either that, or my rack is on the way out!
